JASON GORDON JOINS OSCARS STEAKHOUSE AS GENERAL MANAGER
LAS VEGAS – Jason Gordon has joined Oscars Steakhouse as the general manager where he will be responsible for the operations of the restaurant including staffing, training, inventory, quality assurance and purchasing.
Gordon brings more than six years of high-‐volume, fine-‐dining experience to Oscars, including service as the assistant general manager at Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio Bar & Grill in the Venetian and a restaurant manager at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at the MGM Grand.
“Oscar’s has already earned a significant international reputation as the place to go in downtown Las Vegas,” said Gordon. “I am excited about bringing the skills I’ve honed with Wolfgang Puck to make the dining experience at Oscar’s even more fulfilling.”
Opened in December 2011 by former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, Oscar’s Beef ·∙ Booze ·∙ Broads is a uniquely Las Vegas steakhouse, inside the iconic dome of the Plaza Hotel and Casino overlooking Fremont Street and the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Oscar’s steakhouse features perfectly aged steaks accompanied by high-‐quality, made-‐from-‐scratch sides. The restaurant’s entrées and appetizers are inspired by Oscar’s family recipes and tailored to meet the tastes of even the most discerning diners. And of course, Oscar’s offers a wide variety of delicious, handcrafted cocktails.
