New profiler features in 6.0!- Profiling Points are similar to debugger breakpoints, they let you have fine-grained control over the profiler- The HeapWalker analyzes binary heap dumps produced by the JVM to show you the objects on the heap and the relationships between them. Can be useful for tracking down memory leaks.- The Areas of Interest Graph provides a high-level view of the CPU profiling results so that you can see at a glance the percentage of time spent in specific areas.- NetBeans 6.0 includes support for JMeter and the profiler can start a JMeter script as part of a profiling session.- Dynamic attach allows you to connect to an already running application and collect profiling information.- Finally, the profiler is no longer a separate installation it is included with the Java IDE.
