Founded in 1991 by late Sri. J Udayan and

Smt. Mahishree Udayan, Jayanti Group

has two entities:

– Jayanti Botanical Gardens

– Jayanti Garden Services

Sri J. Udayan came from a long line of horticulturists and a family of nursery men.

He was the fifth generation to pursue the business. After almost 20 years of

co-owning a nursery with his brother, Sri Udayan branched out to develop his

own business with a vision of a growing Bangalore in mind.

Sri Udayan envisioned a need for readymade gardens and began producing and

growing specimen plants that would add immediate e�ect to any new landscape.

Over the years Smt. Mahishree Udayan has developed on this concept and

established one of the leading nurseries in the country.

HISTORICAL LINEAGE

Spread over 30 acres on Kanakapura Main Road on the outskirts of Bengaluru, the production

facility of Jayanti Botanical Gardens (JBG) features specimen plants of all varieties and all types

of flowering trees, palms, ground covers and hedge plants among others.

Jayanti Botanical Gardens delivers the best quality plants for some of the largest landscapes in

the country. Today, clients involve JBG right from the project planning and development stage

by giving them their plant requirements a year or two prior to undertaking the landscaping work

so that the plants are nurtured and grown as per the clients specifications and delivered on

schedule.

With the growth of the nursery business, it was only natural for Jayanti Botanical Gardens to

expand into landscaping. The company's in-house landscaping division, Jayanti Garden Services

(JGS), undertakes landscaping work on a turnkey basis and has completed several residential

and large industrial projects.

One of JGS oldest clients is the Himalaya Drug Company with whom they have been associated

for over 25 years, designing and maintaining their factory located on Tumkur Road. They have

also been designing and maintaining the prestigious Toyota Kirloskar factory located in Bidadi

since 2003. JGS are also the sole producers and suppliers for the Toyota Green Drive, for

which they have supplied over a hundred thousand tree saplings till date and their support and

association continues.

Jayanti Gardens Sevices' goal is to be one of the top nurseries and landscaping houses in

India. They are committed to excellence and e�ciency in all aspects of work and strive to make

o� Old Airport Road, overlooking the KGA Golf course,

behind Manipal Hospital. Jayanti Botanical Gardens

Located on Devanhalli Main Road 12 km before the International

Airport, Embassy Boulevard is one of Jayanti Botanical Gardens'

largest on-going projects, spread over 52 acres with 170

high-end luxury villas. The company has been awarded the

entire softscape package for this project. Having completed the

Marketing O�ce, all the Streetscapes and Model Villas, JBG will

continue with the remaining landscape work on the completion

of all the villas.

They have created a nursery on-site where all the trees that

were present on site before formation of the layout have been

transplanted, so as to re-transplant them once the layout is

complete.

This farmhouse is located just o� the Devanhalli Main Road, opposite Embassy

Boulevard. Jayanti Botanical Gardens has supplied and planted most of the huge

specimen trees and shrubs for this project that is spread over 22 acres with vast

landscaped gardens. They have also created a Riding Pathway apart from the

sprawling lawns.

over 5 years ago, the entire concept was designed and

executed by Jayanti Garden Services. The company has also

Spread across 432 acres, this prestigious car manufacturing factory is located in the Bidadi Industrial Area, 32 kms from

Bangalore. Jayanti Botanical Gardens has been designing, executing and maintaining 35 acres of landscaped area in this

This is one of the prestigious five-star hotels in Bangalore for which Jayanti Botanical Gardens

has supplied and executed the entire landscape on a fast-track basis in just 20 days! JBG has

been associated with Bharat Hotels since 2001 and has supplied plants for the entire

softscape package for their hotels in Canacona, Goa; Bekel Fort, Kerala and their hotels in

Mumbai and Khajuraho.

Jayanti Botanical Gardens' specialty includes transplantation of

fully-grown trees. In the Embassy Boulevard project, JBG has created a

special nursery on-site for saving trees that existed in the layout. Saving

240 trees in this project alone, they have transplanted trees that are

over 60 feet in height and 3 feet in girth. This is significant as they are

not only saving a large number of trees from being felled, but also

saving the cost of buying the same number of trees of that size later for

the same project, which are really hard to find!

the production of plants required for projects

on a turnkey basis. If a project is due for

commencement and the landscaping plans are

finalized, then the production of those plants

can be started so that they meet the client's

size specifications at the time of delivery and

planting.
