Perform two songs in the popular music idiom in contrasting styles along with a karaoke track.

Guitar, Bass, and Piano

Perform two songs in contrasting styles. Bring the songs on your laptop or phone to play along with at the audition. Guitarists, one of the sections could be a guitar solo, performed note for note.

Drums and Percussion Perform two grooves in contrasting styles. For example, Funk and a 12/8 feel. If you perform a transcription of a groove, please bring a recording to play along with.

Horns Use the Jazz Ensemble excerpts at the beginning of this document. *Guitar and Bass amps will be provided as well as a Piano and Drum Set.
