Your ideal qualifications University degree (any discipline) with strong academic results Passion for consultative sales and business development Passion to learn and development regional business knowledge 1-2 years sales experience preferable but not mandatory Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Natural leadership qualities Ambitious extracurricular activities or first relevant professional experience The Role - The International Management Trainee Program is both intense and rewarding. It not only focuses on teamwork and culture, but also, and most importantly, has a strong emphasis on Business-to-Business sales. As part of the role, you will be speaking to a wide range of companies and organisations – from universities and local government departments to Fortune 500 companies. The right candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process as they liaise with C- Level Executives and directly pitch Meltwater’s suite of services to them. All Meltwater managers have been developed through this program as have the majority of its executives. The program is designed to prepare each trainees for a career in sales management, and successful completion is required before the individual can be considered for a management position.
