1) Setting up the e-mail process.

a. The user from which the e-mails are sent must have the current jde.ini table changed

b.

c. Change the mail profile to identify the MS exchange settings – for Outlook

d. Change Rule 1 to SMTP mailserver

2) Setting up work center with employee e-mail addresses.

a. Before an e-mail will be sent, the individual address book has to be set-up to show the appropriate e-mail address.

b. This is done in the Employee Work Center

This needs to be changed to a generic company e-mail address

iii. Inquire on the Address Book to be set-up

v. Select the ‘Preference’ row exit

vii. Enter the e-mail preference

viii. Enter the e-mail address.
