Because Style is a Constant

Launched at the end of 2008, Je Ne Sais Quoi (JNSQ) is a Paris based multi-brand online boutique that specializes in a fashion-forward selection of niche brands and emerging designers from around the world. From ready-to-wear and accessories to lifestyle goods for men and women, JNSQ offers an eclectic collection of pieces shopped to fit seamlessly into any style.

JNSQ focuses on one concept: suggesting that every woman (and very soon, every man) should have each season’s essential pieces within her wardrobe. We introduce new collections by creating 5 looks combining edgy but timeless and elegant accessories that add a touch of originality to an assortment of ready-to-wear, which are updated over the course of the season. We shop brands and designers from all over the world to provide a sophisticated array of clothing and accessories for our discerning clientèle.

The founder of JNSQ, Mireille Nagourney, ensures that each product fits her criterion before it becomes a part of her exclusive collection. The fundamental pillars of her definition of luxury goods are unconditional quality, craftsmanship and timelessness. Beyond upholding a commitment to quality, JNSQ makes the client experience a priority in offering exceptional service and personalized attention. As a client herself of luxury goods, Mireille understands that attention to detail, rapid and efficient delivery and quality customer service are crucial to providing a memorable experience and therefore aims to eliminate the virtual barrier of online shopping. The JNSQ client is from all corners of the world. They are sophisticated, fashion- forward and selective with an appreciation for a multi-cultural lifestyle - precisely the reason we showcase carefully chosen niche international brands that master the coupling of classic design with this ‘je ne sais quoI’ that makes each look unique. Our clients shop with us because we offer access to brands and designers that may not be available outside major metropolitan areas of the world. They come to us looking for unconditional quality, craftsmanship, true luxury, and personalized service and this is exactly what we strive to uphold. Whether the purchase is intended as a gift or as a personal treat, JNSQ knows that one of the primary pleasures of buying a luxury item is discovering its packaging. Our products are either wrapped in silk tissue paper or in a linen pouch, placed in a crisp white shopping bag and secured by an organza ribbon that follows the JNSQ color scheme. Mireille strongly believes that the luxury shopping experience must comes as much from the reception of the package as from the item itself.

The boutique features a range of apparel and accessories brands including: Heimstone, Moio, LnA, Lallou, Catherine Michiels, Ettinger, Judith Haas, Yarnz, Ila&I, Odile de Changy, LIP watches and Tali Gillette. The lifestyle selection features handmade aprons by Caroline Blavec as well as cashmere throws and blankets from Zoeppritz. This will soon include candles from Vie Luxe NYC.

JNSQ will soon add Dallin Chase, Bridge & Burn, Loeffler Randall, Rebecca Minkoff, Jaewhan Lee, Binetti, IandD, Paris House and Blee Inara to their selection.

Chauncey, a Brussels-based menswear label, is the idea of designer Nathalie Bouhana and her photographer partner David Sdika. Having previously designed knitwear for Hermès, Salvatore Ferragamo and Anne Valérie Hash, Nathalie has an eye for luxury knits. Creative, minimalist but exclusive, Chauncey prides itself on european craftsmanship. No eccentricity but modern design. Extreme precision and the highest quality yarns and manufacturers. An “elegant gentleman traveler” look with a slice of Belgian surrealism.

Loeffler Randall was born out of designer Jessie Randall’s quest to find the shoes that she wanted to wear but could not find - shoes that possessed an understated elegance, were well made, and undeniably feminine. Styles like the Matilde flat boot quickly became staples among fashion editors and celebrities alike. Loeffler Randall’s mix of refined sophistication and downtown cool filled a niche in the shoe market and the brand was embraced both critically and commercially.

In her studio in le Marais, Odile is never really working alone - old photographs of the women in her family, dressed in beautiful gowns look down from the walls, acting as her muses, giving her inspiration. Odile discovered some of the gorgeous materials she uses in her line hidden in an old trunk while playing in the attic of her family’s home. Since that day, the designer’s sketches reflect the nostalgic atmosphere of her family’s home and the romanticism of her ancestors’ elaborate fabrics.

An industry leader in casual luxury handbags, accessories, and apparel, Rebecca Minkoff’s playful and subtly edgy designs can be spotted on girls everywhere from downtown to uptown, in the US and abroad. Rebecca Minkoff’s designs are a favorite of both everyday women and celebrities such as Agyness Deyn, Lauren Conrad, Keira Knightley, Ashley Greene, and Reese Witherspoon.

Combining glam rock and flirtatious feminine fashions, the French brand Heimstone represents the personal style and aesthetics of its founding duo who met while designing for Michel Klein. Now designed solely by Alex Petit, the brand is coveted for its effortless Parisian style and mystique. The brand has a loyal client base worldwide and has become the sweetheart of fashion bloggers. Only sold in fashion-forward multi-brand boutiques, it is an honor for JNSQ to be part of Heimstone’s select distribution.

Bridge & Burn is a clothing line based out of Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2009, the concept is simple: high quality materials and construction, thoughtful design, and an unwavering attention to detail. The aim is not to follow trends, but to create classic, timeless garments. Each piece in the collection is both stylish and functional

The scarf is an essential piece of a woman’s wardrobe and with Moio, the choices are endless. This is the first collection for the talented creative duo consisting of Monia and Ioana, who first met at a café in Paris. The variety and richness of colors, patterns and materials (linen, silk and bamboo) will bring out the fashionista in you!

Ila&I is an unconventional brother and sister design studio nestled in the heart of Texas. With an eye for the un-designed and the overlooked, the siblings bring together unique creations that bridge the gap between originality and everyday elegance. Their pieces carry a sense of grace and style even when paired with a t-shirt and jeans. “We want people to feel comfortable in our jewelry but know that it has edge to stand out.”

LnA was founded in Los Angeles by partners Lauren Alexander and April Leight. The duo quickly realized that they both were fans of the simple basic tee and could not find one that would go with their jeans for the day or a skirt for the evening. It was then, in 2007, that LnA was launched. Known for its colorful, flattering and wearable take on the Men’s under tee, they launched the “Boyfriend Tee Collection”. The soft, comfortable tees already have a loyal celebrity following from the stylish Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba, to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Nicole Richie.LnA

Catherine Michiels’ jewelry line stems from a vision of global spiritual and social responsibility, in part due to her own training as a Reiki Master, which enables her to imbue her creations with spiritual connotations that transcend and surpass the world of jewelry and art. After working for magazines Marie Claire and Elle, and publishing her own bi-monthly Moderne, Catherine returned to her roots and launched the Catherine Michiels Jewelry line. Her collection of charms on silk ties laden with spiritual and philosophical symbolism speaks to all, including the

Hollywood elite such as Halle Berry, Julia Roberts or Lenny Kravitz. Catherine Michiels

Owen&Savary is the fruit of a collaboration between Kira Owen and Valérie Savary, the designers behind the must-have accessory for men and women: the leather cuff bracelet; a timeless and adjustable piece made of the finest leathers. Their passion for leather is at the heart of their work, be it ostrich, lambskin, alligator or python - the skins are meticulously chosen for their natural beauty. The distinctive clasp is just as important to the design as the hide itself as it may be closed effortlessly with one hand. The finest of French craftsmanship, these unique cuffs are essential to any look of refined luxury. Owen&Savary

LIP, the 142 year old French Watch brand has reintroduced their signature designs-a series from the early 1970s that remains as visionary and innovative today as when first unveiled almost four decades ago. These timepieces were designed by industrial, architectural, interior and graphic designers such as Prince François de Baschmakoff or Roger Tallon, the original designer of the TGV (the french high speed train). The legacy of LIP evolves today in the hands of talented new designer Prisca Briquet.
