We build our 03 Recording Series using only all-solid Indian Rosewood or African Khaya Mahogany. Just like our top-end models, this series features our hand-fit dovetail neck joint for superior fit and sustain. Available in satin finish and all body styles, the 03 Series is our most versatile line played by pros and beginners alike. Whether it’s front stage at the coliseum, local jam night at the pub, or just picking & grinning on the couch, this is a series built for all players.

The 40 Series features our revolutionized parabolic hybrid bracing combination. Utilizing non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing, the 40 Series allows even further vibration of the soundboard, resulting in a much greater dynamic and controlled bass response. Traditional features found on the 40’s include scalloped hybrid bracing, bold rope rosette and purfling, inlaid diamond fret markers, open-back engraved tuners, and traditional flat top headstock.

The 05 Select Series features our premium African Khaya Mahogany back & sides that offer balanced tone, softer lows, stronger mids, and unpronounced highs. The Deluxe Series features our highest grade materials paired with elegantly detailed inlay work. This is a model for the savviest of players who want the best from the best. The 10 series has been chosen at the annual International Fingerstyle Competition in Winfield, Kansas, by many winners as their first choice in guitar. Details include deluxe fingerboard and bridge inlays as well as abalone purfling and rosette. Custom inlaid headstocks are optional and found on our website under Inlays.


Our Traditional Series was born from traditional ‘vintage’ features like a flat-top headstock, hand-carved volute, and diamond inlays. But at the same time maintaining the unique tonal balance of the modern Larrivée symmetrical bracing system. An enlarged soundhole allows significantly greater mid-range punch, emphasizing the low end, and increasing overall volume. The 50 & 60 Series feature cast bronze tuners, scalloped hybrid bracing, herringbone trim, and available in both traditional and slot head style headstocks. Sunburst options are also available. Specialty Models

The LSV-11 “Fingerstyle” is a fingerpickers dream. With a 1-3/4” nut width, there is plenty of room for finger movement. Combine that with the Venetian LS body shape for easy access to the upper frets, and your fingers will be dancing all over the 25.5” or custom 24.75” scale length fingerboard. The LSV-11 showcases all the detailed features as our Deluxe Series as well as master grade East Indian Rosewood back & sides.

Jean Larrivée has been making guitars for 50 years, and it all began with nylon string classics. Today, Jean has culminated over five decades of experimentation and tradition into his latest classical nylon string line. Baritone guitars are found in the extended range family of instruments. Today, lower tunings are firmly planted in the musical landscape of musician’s needs and desires to extend their reach for tone. Players demand guitars that are designed for their specific needs, and our baritones at 27” scale lengths offer tonal properties difficult to find on conventional 25.5” scale lengths. Larrivée Baritones are available in all series in the SD body style.
