Geraldine (Jerri) Vanden Bosch was born on January 14, 1922 to parents Edward Straatsma and Agnes Hansma. She grew up on 1057 Arriana NW; Grand Rapids, Michigan.Edward was an Accountant and Agnes was a Homemaker; however during World War 2, she worked in a factory where she made airplane parts.

Jerri's father, Edward died when she was only 2 years old in 1924. They suspected heart failure at that time.

Jerri's mother, Agnes died on August 20, 1978. She died of a stroke.

Sang in the Metropolitan Choir of Praise 15 years

Taught Piano Lessons to children 10 years

Steak on the grill

Mom was a great cook!

Sunday dinner was typically roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, and crescent rolls with honey.

We could smell it already in the garage when returning home from church.
