Jessica’s deep respect for the human-nature relationship drew her to landscape architecture over ten years ago. She has a Bachelors of Science in landscape Architecture, a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy and is currently pursuing dual Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and Public Administration. Her professional design focus has been on healthcare, K12 education and higher education projects. She truly values the opportunity to extend learning and healing spaces into the landscape to enhance outcomes. She hopes to expand her expertise into the public realm to create health and artistic environments that engaging the public and promote healthy living.
Jessica’s skill set as a landscape architect and planner add tremendous valuable to any team from conceptual site planning through thoughtful detailed design of people spaces. She is a licensed landscape architect in Colorado and holds LEED AP credentials. Her extensive knowledge of plant material in the Rocky Mountain region allow her to create sustainable and memorable landscapes. Her passion for design coupled with her keen understanding of the latest software make her an invaluable addition to any project.
Jessica’s experience in an architecture firm provided her with a firm understanding of functional and artistic connections between disciplines ensuring buildings fit gracefully into the surrounding site and landscape.

T Vision/GoalsBy implementing mixed use infi ll development in the district, the concentration of industrial uses currently in this area are embraced and gain the potential to become an interesting and vibrant part of the community. Access to and across the river around 10th or 11th Avenue will play an integral role in making this disrict a sustainable, multimodal community by enhancing connectivity and access to the South Platte River greenway. Together these efforts will result in a community that is rich with a strong sense of place, economic opportunity, transportation options, and the natural amenities of the South Platte River.
• Coordinate with transit oriented developments to provide accessibility to and around the Light Rail station areas at 10th and Osage and the Federal/Decatur station to sustain the multimodal transportation system.
• Development of an east-west pedestrian connection across I-25 and the South Platte River that connects Sun Valley and LincolnPark neighborhoods.
• Maintain industrial uses while integrating mixed use and affordable residential developments with strong urban design to defi ne the area.
• Showcase the South Platte River as an asset to the community’s vitality by making it a multimodal path as well as a recreationaldestination with increased accessibility.

Short-Term - • Rezone C-RX or C-MX to promote future residential mixed use development• Redevelop South Platte River Greenway and build bridge linking the East and West banks at 10th or 11th Avenues• Street improvements along Zuni St. and 13th Ave. to develop a complete street network.

Eco-Industrial Park & Transit Oriented DevelopmentMixed-use and Transit Oriented Development on both the east and west sides of I-25 will be a catalyst to reactivate the industrial park and lead to an eventual transition to an Eco-Industrial Park. Regional transit connections along with an expanded local employment base provide an important labor supply for the revitalized industrial park. Access to
freight and revitalized connections to the local area and within the park provide for improved coordination between businesses in the park. Massing of
parcels in the park allows for the creation of a management entity that oversees the use of the park to provide for maximum efficiency and collaboration of
business entities.
