Engaging with the public leading educational talks and displays. This gave me confidence

speaking to large audiences as well as communicating with individuals. Leading smaller

handling sessions gave me more one to one experience with the public, giving me the

confidence to present in a more intense environment.

2011

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Pursuing technical interest in animal anatomy and medicine. This involved high levels of

teamwork in a very time critical environment during prep and surgery.

Dealing with student queries liaising with other depts. E.g. student records, central

programmes and assessments to resolve issues quickly demonstrating networking and

customer service skills.

Taking minutes at complaint meetings and Boards of Study demonstrating attention to

detail and confidentiality.

Allocating 800 students to module tutorials ensuring no timetable clashes, demonstrating

logical thinking, initiative and continual process improvement through developing new

more effective methods.

Organising school welcome week events for new and returning students; including

organising catering and dealing with budgets managing expectations. Presenting my own

role at welcome week events to rooms of 200 students at a time. Gaining experience in

surfer sales competition. Gained experience in dealing with high workloads managing a

floor independently during the busy Summer season and during Sale. Organising sale

recall and phase change.

Additional Information

Highly trained on all MS IT packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint. SITS

administration database and reporting training. Technical experience in a research lab environment

during my degree also including Health and Safety training. Experience using centrifuges, PCR

machines.

Interests

Textiles projects including knitting jumpers, dance, completed all IDTA grades in Theatre to grade 5,

Adult Silver medal tap and Bronze adult group medal tap. Taken part in two dance shows performing

ballet and tap. Flyer and back base in the game day vixens cheerleading squad at Southampton

University and Farnborough Jets cheerleading squad at college.
