“Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them. Large crowds followed Him from Galilee and the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from beyond the Jordan.”Mt. 4:23-25, NASU

Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." Mark 1:14-15 NASU
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.Matthew 9:35-36, NASU

“We’re too small…”Consider our options:1. We do nothing
2. Rely on nominal advertising
3. Brainstorm: how can we have a real presence?
Yeah, but…?
“Isn’t this just warmed over ‘social gospel’ thinking?”1. We’re not talking about simply throwing
money at some charities.
2. We’re talking about being diligent and deliberate in thinking about how to be involved.
How did Jesus use miracles?
