permanent secure connection of the
roof sheeting to the basement with
help of the, as an extra available,
S-connection rail system
The requirements of DIN 18234-3
(version 03 / 03) are fulfilled without
additional site-work
Reliable drainage of water and
condensate thanks to the 8° incline of
the continuous rooflight bearing

Advantage of the connection rail:
The assembling of the continuous roof-
lights can be made independently to
the connection of the roof sheeting.

Lighting technology
The coating of the vertical basements in RAL 9002 significantly increases the intensity of illumination under
the rooflight compared with a galvanized vertical basement!
It is the same when you compare a vertical galvanized basement with an inclined S-basement in RAL
9002. The intensity of illumination of the coated basement is higher, even if it has a 20 cm smaller upper
clear width (see below table).
Additional advantage for you:
A smaller rooflight order width:
- lower price
- less loss of heat in winter
- less heating in summer
Sample calculation according DIN 5034, part 6 (version 06 / 95)
Dimensions of hall: 50 m x 20 m, height: 10 m, 1 continuous rooflight integrated, length: 40 m, basement
height: 50 cm, galvanized, as alternative coated in grey white. In case of inclined basement the upper
incidence of light dimension is reduced by 20 cm in the width.

The choice of the necessary basement height
takes place due to the addition of on site used
thicknesses resp. construction heights of
trapezoidal sheet
+ heat insulation
+ sealing
+ necessary free basement height.
For SHEV according DIN 18232 basement height
minimum 25 cm over the upper edge of the roof!
