I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. In this “Venice of the North,” crowded with splendid palaces, cathedrals, tree-lined avenues and beautiful bridges, I was enlightened from my earliest years by fine arts and classical music, which were my first inspirations, and ultimately led me to become an architect and designer. Subsequent to completing my advanced studies in architecture at Ben-Gurion University in Israel (BA), I have had the privilege of working with prestigious design and architectural firms in Israel and the United States. My rigorous architectural approach to space planning, form creation, and detail is evident in all of my work. I believe in the constant exploration of design languages and diverse use of materials, color palettes, and concepts that are specific to each new project and its physical context. I am not satisfied until the finest results are produced using methodologies that include evidence based design, intensive research and due-diligence.
My areas of expertise have included design for commercial, banking, hospitality, retail, food services, and residential projects. My attention to detail and range of the design scope is evident in all aspects of my clients’ projects, from conceptual sketches and design development to the completion of the project.
My approach involves carefully listening to clients, successfully understanding needs and desires in order to create compelling environments that work for them.

PHILOSOPHY
It only takes a few individuals of open consciousness to create the water ripple effect. The human consciousness is one whole moving evolving energy just the same as an expanse of water, through cause and effect.
It can only affect all of humanity from a group perspective and as one individual moves thought and consciousness into perfect balance, then the whole whether aware, enlightened or not, will move towards that balance.
The humankind’s destiny is not in the hands of the governments, the warlords, or even one continent, it is in the hands of the individual and that individual’s right by free will to think and create in that individual’s whole life.
Therefore, individual thinking affects the life of everything in and around it by being a part of the Universal Consciousness.
INFINITY CENTERHarrington College of DesignCreative Collaboration, 2011+ group project+ 16 weeks
The Infinity Center is an intellectual retreat that brings together people from all walks of life into a shared space that actively facilitates the exchange and development of new ideas.
Using the uninterrupted continuity of the infinity symbol to inform the overall design strategy, the project’s architecture is a direct expression of the internal wayfinding strategy.
A secondary wayfinding system will also be utilized in the from of personalized generative graphics embedded in the flooring. Through the combination of these strategies, stakeholders will be afforded a highly dynamic, transparent experience that provide for both intellectual and physical freedom.

The ramps are a manipulated version of the infinity symbol, in plan, it is in fact that symbol.
The ramps allow users to easily flow from program to program, and provide for a transparent interior space so that stakeholders are always able to orient themselves in the building.
AIRPORT YOGA ROOM
PROTOTYPEHarrington College of DesignDesign and Society, 2011+ individual project+ 6 weeks
The proposed project is designed to support the notion of promoting a healthy life style and providing accommodation to the air transit traveler. Today, airports across the country as well as international are striving to improve general accommodation for the traveler, such as shopping experience, food services and personal care.
However, stress level remains a main issue to a majority of passengers. Long or delayed flights may cause and unpleasant experience through the course of a single trip. Not only physical discomfort occurrence due to still seating position during flights and wait periods appears to be stressful,
but also the emotional state may be affected.
Being sensitive to our spiritual needs and connected to our origins may sooth us, bring comfort, or even heal our bodies and souls. Consequently, as a designer, I believe that the emerging social paradigm of holistic attitude

toward health is demanding the implementation of such accommodations in the public spaces, especially in those that are limited in a natural environment exposure.
RE SPIRITUAL RETREATHarrington College of DesignSpecialization Studio, 2012+ individual project+17 weeks

FORM, LIGHT AND MOVEMENT
RHINO EXPERIMENTATIONHarrington College of DesignMedia and Communications, 2011+ individual project+ 16 weeks
Spatial movement through the model demon-strates how position in space can influence one’s perception and emotion, an analogy the idea of having different approaches in individual spiritual path. Soft three-dimensional forms and wave-like elements emphasize the life-stream that flows
eternally towards increasingly higher levels of consciousness. Moving towards the model, altering exterior views through the use of speed and velocity, navigating and observing interior spaces from different angles of the camera, facilitates our understanding of how this life-stream builds itself into different personalities as vehicles for its flow of consciousness.
Purpose of this parametric experimentation is to illustrate several points of importance that regard to spirituality in art and architecture. Through techniques such as field and database, as well as layering superimposed images, it appears possible to stress the notion of diversity in the world of spirituality: one can travel many different roads or even travel without a road. Spatial movement through the model demonstrates how position in space can influence one’s perception and emotion, similarly
to the idea of having different approaches in individual spiritual path. Soft three-dimensional forms, wave-like elements of the illustration emphasize life-stream that flows eternally towards increasingly higher levels of consciousness. Moving towards the model, altering exterior views in certain speed and velocity, travelling and observing interior spaces under different angles of camera, facilitates our understanding of how this life-stream builds itself different personalities as vehicles for its

The Flower of Life symbol is considered to be sacred among many cultures around the world, both ancient and modern. The Flower of Life is the modern name given to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged
so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. The center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter.

Located in Wheeling, IL, this project was a conversion of an existing furniture store into a state of the art 5,500 sq. ft. child care center. The project development included re-zoning and parking variation in order to adapt new space for the proposed use. It also involved broad product and material research to make the center not only beautiful
but absolutely child safe and environmentally friendly. Green technology design was a substantial part of the project ranging from non-toxic paints and natural flooring to skylight tubes and full spectrum light bulbs. Project contained commercial kitchen and theater auditorium design.

This project was designed to meet the clients’ needs to develop the Downtown branch of large pizzeria franchise.
Challenged with a low budget allowance, the restaurant used Old Italy as the foundation for the chain’s conceptual design, establishing a warm, inviting, and domestic feel within the space.

Design of this project included design development phase, presentation extensive
research.
Space planning, three dimensional design and board presentation were developed to introduce
client with historically inspired restaurant and cafe facility.
This project included combining the two buildings into one by removing the adjacent bearing walls and adjusting the floor slab of the former theater to match the existing retail store. The exterior façades were redesigned to provide
one cohesive design; and the interior was designed to become a beverage and gourmet food superstore. The lower level has been converted into catacomb-like wine tasting rooms. The construction process took twelve months during which the store remained in business.

I have always been passionate about photography and art. Photography has provided me with an artistic outlet and an inspiration.
I have been actively learning photography since 2009. Over these years I have had the pleasure of taking photos for weddings, portraits for personal and professional use, personal traveling experience, interior and exterior architecture.
