know I am blessed.” - Wetumpka, AL
“I’m so thankful for the great job your radio station is doing
in sharing the “Good News” in so many various ways.
Enclosed is my check... to help further your ministry. God

“Great music and great sharing. Also a great supporter of
local ministries. Thanks Faith Radio!” - Facebook
“Let me also express appreciation to Faith Radio and the fine
work done to lift our Lord and His work across this area and
other parts of our state. I always count it a joy to partner with
you in events which can help all our churches and friends in the
community.” - Montgomery, AL
“We believe in you and pray God’s blessing on your ministry
and continued faithfulness to broadcast the Gospel.” -
Montgomery, AL
“I have committed to the Lord to send $10.00 each month to
WLBF. I know that it is not a lot of money, but I am sure
that the Lord can multiply it and make it go much further
than any of us realize. I know He does that for me each
month!” - Millbrook, AL
Thank you for all of the good work you and your Faith Radio
team contribute to the Christian community. Your broadcasts
are empowering and quite often speak directly to my circum-
stances. I have enclosed a small donation to help you in your
radio ministries.” - Montgomery, AL
“The LORD God formed the man from the dust of
the ground and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life, and the man became a living
being.” (Genesis 2:7)
Perfection. Adam was a perfect creation of
God. He was placed in the Garden and was
given a purpose. But Adam was not complete.
Completion. “So the LORD God caused the
man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was
sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and
closed up the place with flesh. The LORD God
made a woman from the rib he had taken out of
the man, and he brought her to the man….”
Adam was made complete; and “God saw all
that he had made, and it was very good”
(Genesis 1:31).
God was meticulous in His design of marriage.
Ephesians 5 directs us in the authority structure
of the home. The relationship of husband and
wife is an earthly picture of Christ’s relationship
to the Church. It is structured for completion and sufficiency.
Faith Radio’s mission is to “strengthen the local church and family unit.” Through
this ministry, the Truth of the Gospel is proclaimed and marriages are strengthened.

For some 36 years now, Dr. Jim Burns has beendedicated to helping families find Biblically-based, God-honoring solutions to the issues
they face. HomeWord is the daily radio program of theHomeWord Center for Youth and Family, and FaithRadio is pleased to present it Monday through Fridayafternoons at 2:30pm.
Jim is an award-winning author, and his booksinclude Creating an Intimate Marriage and ConfidentParenting. In addition to books and radio program,he is a featured speaker at seminars and conferences. He is married to Cathy, and they have 3 daughters.
The radio program addresses a variety of topicsand includes periodic teaching by Jim Burns, as wellas interviews with guests. Recent guests have includ-ed: Ron Blue, Emerson Eggerichs, Shaunti Feldhahn,
Gary Smalley, Thelma Wells, and CeCe Winans. Dennis Rainey of FamilyLife Todayand Howard Dayton of MoneyWise have also been guests on the program.
The ministry’s Mission Statement says: “HomeWord seeks to advance the work ofGod in the world by educating, equipping, and encouraging parents and churches tobuild God-honoring families from generation to generation.” The ministry believesit effectively reaches young people by equipping their parents, grandparents, andyouth leaders with solid Biblical truth that they can pass on.
We invite you to join us weekdays at 2:30pm for HomeWord, and be sure to checkout the website at www.homeword.com.
Matthew 28:19 tells us “Go
therefore and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit.” This great
commission instructs us to make
disciples of Jesus Christ. Recently Dr.
Tony Evans was in Montgomery, and
he made this statement during his
sermon: “We have made Christians
without making disciples.” Being a
disciple of Christ requires that we be
dynamically growing in our relation-
ship with Him and actively serving
others. Discipleship is a process of con-
tinued spiritual development -
reading, studying and meditating on
God’s Word.
Shouldn’t Jesus’ last command be
our first priority? Faith Radio is here to
make disciples and help our listeners
grow. We have many Bible-teaching
programs throughout the day to help
individuals grow in their knowledge of
Jesus Christ. Our praise music draws
people into His presence by uplifting
their hearts to the Lord.
We are thankful to many who
support the ministry of Faith Radio in
building disciples! When people tune
in and hear the powerful life-changing
messages, they are fed God’s Word.
One listener recently wrote, “I was
feeling dry spiritually.... in the desert
parched.... life is tough. I am thanking
God for Faith Radio. It is a spring in
the wilderness.”
Thank you for providing for Faith
Radio to be a spring in the wilderness,
a bright light in a dark world. We know
that when you help us lift up the
name of Jesus Christ, people are
drawn to Him.
Someday the Great Commission
will be the great completion. We
invite you to participate in the
greatest and most significant cause in
history: growing God’s Kingdom and
building His disciples. Here are some
ways you can join us in broadcasting
the love message of Jesus Christ:

“a man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
In July, 2004, Andrew Leuthold packed up his family
in Atlanta and came to Faith Radio in Montgomery
to serve as Operations Manager and host of
Morning Praise. (Two years later, Pamela Neu joined
him as co-host of the program.) Encouraging listeners
will continue to be “all in a day’s work,” but Andrew will
soon be serving in the state of Florida.
Pamela and Andrew’s final “Morning Praise” together
was March 23. We are confident that the Lord will
continue to use Andrew mightily, as from here he will serve as Operations Director
of WKES (Moody Radio Florida) in St. Petersburg, Florida. Andrew’s
tremendous gifts and friendship will be greatly missed at Faith Radio, but we wish him
and his family all the best as they step out on this new journey of service together!

“I do.”We’re notsayingthesewords likewe used to.
Ido.” We’re not saying these words like weused to. Yesterday, we dreamed of beingJune Cleaver; today, Angelina Jolie.
Yesterday, our greatest calling was to be a wifeand mother. Today, we determine that a husbandand children not stand in the way of our calling.
The ADPH (Alabama Department ofPublic Health) recently released the live birthrecords for the state of Alabama. There were7,446 births in the year 2010. 1,311 of thosechildren were born in to families. Go ahead, read the statistic again… one out of seven of
our state’s children has a married mother
and father. It’s essential that we look far beyond
Hollywood when we explore the institutions ofmarriage and family. We must look to Scripture. The first wedding was performed in the Gardenof Eden, and we read the details in Genesis 2.Her gown? It was a masterpiece created by TheGreat Designer. The guests? The FatherAlmighty attended with all His creation. Thepurpose of this “ceremony” was to fulfill theneed for companionship and intimacy that Godhad created in man. The intent of this relation-ship was to symbolize Christ’s intimate unionwith the church.
There are many reasons why our marriage statistics are getting worse. Divorces are soaring, and many have decided it’s “not worth the risk” tomarry. Living together and raising babies solo havelost the stigmas they once held. The “all about me”generation has decided it can go it alone.
Oh, the grief this brings to the Father! Henot only designed marriage, but so carefullyoutlined what it should look like, so all theworld could see the commitment and faithful-ness that He has to His people. The authors ofGod’s Word painstakingly give the recipes forsuccessful families. And we’ve so tainted therelationship that we’ve opted to throw away therecipe Book altogether.
It’s a pretty grim picture. But it doesn’t have to be! There are churches and ministries
by Pamela Neu,
co-host of Morning Praise
committed to the promotion and healthof marriages, and the resources theybring are transforming marriagesthroughout our country! In February,Faith Radio partnered with theFamilyLife® Weekend to Remember inMontgomery. This regular marriageretreat offers solid biblical teaching, encouragement, and motivation to work at the relationship God holds so dear. Winners of our on-air contest were blessed with the gift ofstrengthening their marriages, and theconference yielded some amazing statistics of its own:
• A record 486 in attendance• 34 committed their lives to Christ
for the first time• 130 re-committed their lives and
marriages to ChristNow those are some great statistics!
The Weekend to Remember is just one
resource that Faith Radio has stoodbehind in support of the Christian family. Day after day the broadcasts ofFocus on the Family, FamilyLife Today, andIntentional Living with Randy Carlson high-light specific areas of the family andoffer biblical counsel by which to live.Saturdays, Mark Gregston gives practicaladvice in the area of Parenting Today’s Teens.
In addition to the programs thatdirectly address the challenges of familylife, the entire programming of FaithRadio is designed to strengthen andencourage the believer, so that in everydeed and relationship, we are equippedto choose righteousness!
As Faith Radio listeners apply theteaching and praise that is offered, thestatistics will turn around. As theChurch applies the Word of God, theLord will again look at all He createdand say, “it is very good.”

Do you
remem-
ber the
story of Adam and Eve? One man.
One woman. Alone in a beautiful gar-
den. Created in God’s own image. It
almost sounds too good to be true.
But it is. It’s a story that started out
perfect, but had a tragic outcome.
One that would affect the entire
human race.
Have you ever stopped and
wondered how anyone could mess
up such a good thing? In my mind,
I’ve often put myself in their position
and then come to the realization that if
they hadn’t messed up the destiny of
the entire human race, I probably
would have.
God created the institution of the
family before he instituted human
government or even the church. I
believe that God planned from the
beginning that the family - a married
relationship between one man and
one woman - would be the basic
foundation upon which all other
human institutions would be based.
One of the benefits of Faith Radio is
that it supports a biblical view of
the marriage relationship by airing
programs that strengthen that relation-
ship. Morning Praise, while not a
program that deals directly with
marriage or relationship advice, provides
interesting conversation that upholds
the bonds of holy matrimony. We
frequently chat with guests who have
information that is geared toward
developing Godly families and
strengthening marriages.
No one goes into a marriage with
the intention of ruining his or her life
and the life of their spouse. However,
when a relationship is not nurtured in a
Godly environment, it can very quickly
turn from the Garden of Eden to a briar
patch. By sacrificially serving our
mates and loving them just as Christ
loves us, we will get through those
sticky situations and build a stronger
marriage than we had at the begin-
ning. Faith Radio and it’s programming
can help you do just that.
Everything was perfect...MORN

The concept of The Meeting
House is to encourage and
challenge listeners to apply the
principles of the Scriptures into our
lives. Through Christ-centered conver-
sations with my guests, I desire to
provide content that can be integrated
into various areas of our lives –
including our relationships. And, I
want to inform believers on public
policy issues that affect families.
It’s important that we do not
separate our professed faith from our
practice, and this is so important in our
homes, including our marriages. I have
been blessed to connect with some of
the foremost Christian experts on
matters of concern to the family. For
instance, I’ve had the opportunity
to chat regularly with Dr. David
Hawkins, a noted author and colum-
nist for Crosswalk.com and other
websites. Over the past year, I’ve
interviewed the leaders of ministries
heard on Faith Radio that are dedicat-
ed to addressing marriage and family
topics – Dennis Rainey of FamilyLife
and Jim Daly of Focus on the Family.
Our knowledge of and involve-
ment in public policy issues affecting
families are important considerations
of the program. Stuart Shepard, host
of “Family News in Focus” is a
regular contributor. Guests such as
Dan Gainor of the Media Research
Center and Susan Fisher of Moms for
Family Television have been great
resources providing discernment for
families as they engage with media.
Over the years, representatives of
Concerned Women for America,
Family Research Council, Liberty
Counsel, and Alabama-based organi-
zations such as the Alabama Citizens
Action Program (ALCAP) and
Alabama Policy Institute have
provided excellent insight and analysis
into policy issues.
Faith Radio is dedicated to
strengthening families, and The
Meeting House is here to provide tools
for marriages and families.

A memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor someone at the time of death by recognizing that person’s
Christian faith and testimony. Similarly, an honorarium is a tangible way of honoring a living person’s
testimony. We are thankful for individuals listed below who choose to honor friends and loved ones through
a gift that extends the message of Christ through Faith Radio’s ministry.
