Weekend JIC releases may be issued in the event other COVID-19-related information needs to be issued. Results: Two New Cases of COVID-19 Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 407 tests performed by DPHSS on Sunday, May 23, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. One (1) case was identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,136 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 70 cases in active isolation, and 7,927 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.4. Pfizer-BioNTech Shipment Arrives On Sunday, May 23, DPHSS received its shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 23,400 doses were received in good condition as part of Guam’s May allocation. COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue at the locations and times below. Bring a photo ID. Those due for their second dose are reminded to bring their COVID-19 immunization card. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. Minor’s birth certificate is acceptable.
