MIGRATION AND URBANISATIONAt the time of independence India has a few numbers of cities. But after independence the number of cities and their population rises dramatically. One of the various reasons of urbanization is the formation of new states with which new capitals also formed. Beside this Industrialization also leads to the formation of urbanization. Though urbanization is a symbol of development and prosperity, yet it causes a number of problems, because due to urbanization, there is a centralization of various facilities like education, medical, employment etc. All these lead to the migration of people from rural areas to urban areas.
Migration among human beings however, is not biological. It is social, economic, political or cultural. The most important causes of migration are economic and political. The importance of migration for developing countries cannot be overestimated.

About JIM 4Migration is a major factor in economic development and manpower planning. It has acquired special significance in the context of commercialization of agriculture because of labour mobility. It is a major factor in urbanization and social change. It has notable feed-back effects on the place of origin as the migrants from rural to urban areas maintain different kinds and degrees of contact.
Migration and settlement are interrelated aspects of social and cultural life of the people. While it excludes short visits and tours, it includes different types of both voluntary and involuntary movements.
Transhumance is aspecial type of migration between two sets of settlements in different seasons.
Migration from rural to urban areas created a lot of problems for government.
With the increase of migration, the number of slum dwellers increases. It also increases the problems of water, sewerage, electr icity, housing, drainage etc. It also affects the situation of law and order in the city. The main reason of migration is generally the search of employment. Therefore government takes various measures and run various schemes to minimize migration. Such as:
(i)Jawahar Rojgar Yojna: In the Jawahar Rojgar Yojna government helps people by engaging them in Brick road construction, plantations etc.
(i i)Self Employment Scheme: In this scheme government helps the people to get self employment by providing funds on low interest rates and also providing technical assistance.

Reasons Leading to the Growth of Marketing Automation
“Marketing automation refers
to software platforms designed
for marketing departments
and organizations to automate
repetitive tasks.”

The B2B sales environment has changed drastically with the introduction of the Internet to the personal and business space. Companies are finding it increasingly challenging to reach potential prospects. Therefore, they are finding ways to modify and revamp their sales and marketing tactics in order to cope. There are several specifictrends that are driving the adoption of marketing automation. These work together, making marketing automation an integral asset to any organization.
Marketing automationrefers to software platforms designed for marketing departments and organizations to automate repetitive tasks. Marketing departments, consultants and part-time marketing employees benefited by specifying criteria and outcomes for tasks and processes which are then interpreted, stored and executed by software, which increases efficiency and reduces human error. Originally focused on email marketing automation, marketing automation refers to a broad range of automation and analytic tools for marketing. The use of a marketing automation platform is to streamline sales and marketing organizations by replacing high-touch, repetitive manual processes with automated solutions.
Below mentioned are certain reasons that are pushing the growth of Marketing Automation in the society:-1. Buyers want valuable content. The traditional marketing jargon needs to be replaced with original content that provides value and education to the buyer. Marketing automation has tools that enable marketers to share a steady stream of information with prospects, keeping their product at the forefront of the buyer’s mind.2. Buyers are hesitant to engage over the phone.Sales professionals are constantly facing the issue of decreased sales engagement. Features in marketing automation software such aslead nurturing enable marketing to “warm up” buyers until they are ready to be passed on to sales.3. Buyers require marketing accountability.Traditionally, marketing ROI was difficult to measure on positioning, collateral and brand building. Marketing automation empowers the marketing team to define their contribution to the organization as a whole with sophisticated analytics and reporting capabilities.
4. Marketing channels have transformed. With the advent of the Internet, the way we communicate has drastically changed. This means that companies also have to change the way they market. With marketing automation, marketers can use multi-channel marketing campaigns to reach potential customers wherever they are in the web-o-sphere.5. SaaS is the preferred deployment method.Due to the high number of relatively new entrants to the marketing automation space, many of these vendors are built on a modern, software-as-a-service (SaaS) architecture. This deployment method enables users to get up and running faster than with traditional on-premise models. Also, with subscription pricing, the marketing team can easily add a reasonable line item to their budget, as opposed to getting approved for a big capital expenditure.
Marketing automation has hit the ground running. It will be interesting to watch as it develops over the next couple of years, helping companies adjust to and embrace the new B2B sales environment.
