COUNTY OF RENFREW ABANDONED RAILWAY RIGHTS-OF-WAY POLICY – 1997

• The County of Renfrew shall purchase future surplus abandoned railway rights-of-way as they become available, from time-to-time, for use as future transportation and utility corridors.

• Use of all surplus abandoned railway rights-of-way acquired or managed by the County of Renfrew shall be used for transportation facilities, utility corridors, outdoor recreation, parks and open space. Public use shall be encouraged.
