DESCRIPTION
This month we asked our good friend, artist and writer James Nocito, to take a turn going through Specimen's collection of found photographs and to come up with a virtual exhibition for our gallery space SPEC. We knew he would rise to the occasion but we had no idea how high Jimmy would place that occasion! He not only picked out the photos but he wrote a very informative essay on the subject of the snapshot, the excitement of the hunt in regards to finding the photos and even took a stab at the reasoning behind collecting certain images in the first place.
