Flannagan, '26, s'cc- retary, to be placed in nODlination. Delegates at the Ninth and Tenth con- ventions will remember Brother Gregory, who is well fitted to preside at the forth- corning convention. . The issue is several days behind time because of the unusual number of address changes among APX men within the last six months. It has taken a great deal of time to correct the rolls but we feel th'e t'ime 'has been well spent. Because of the limited space this issue is rather condensed and the make-up is unusual, but we hope to return to nor- 11lalcy next issue. Speaking of the De- cember number, this 'edition will follow rather closely on the heels of this copy for two reasons, first, to get to the actives b'efore the Christmas holidays and, second, to carry news that should have appeared this month. Forsythe won an e'nviable place in the resp'ect of his students. Under his guid- ance the Frosh received their Eleme'nts and the Sophs their introduction to architectural history. 11any a tin1e his 'eves reflected n1emories as he told of Florence and Venice and Italian D100n- light. "Jimrnie" Forsythe passed to' his re- wardN ov. 1st at his home in S1. Paul. tIe was survived by his widow, a sister -of Bro. Wm. Kirchner, 11necicles, his parents and a brother and sister. In ad- dition to his duties in the department at l\1innesota, Mr. Forsythe was consulting archi tect for the Board of Regeints, the liason officer between the administra- tion and the state architect. Bro. F'. M. Mann, 11nesicles honor- ary, Head of the Department at M'inne- sota since coming from Illinois, will succeed 1\I1r. Forsythe as Consulting Architect. Bro. Ma:nn graduated fron1 Minnesota in engineering in 1892 and Mass. Tech. in 1894, and has been head of the ,department at Minne- sota since its establ'ishment.
