About JECC

Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) is one of the largest pillar-less exhibition-

convention-entertainment facilities of its kind in all of South Asia. Its multi-purpose vast

premises give each and every exhibition, expo, conference, corporate meeting, trade

show, product launch, award ceremony, seminar and social event an international

platform that carries with it the expertise of Rajasthan’s rich traditions.

Spread in 42-acre property, JECC consists of two air-conditioned exhibition halls with

column-space of 1,00,000 sq. ft each, an exquisite convention centre featuring an

elegantly designed ballroom of 12,000 sq. ft. along with 14 breakaway rooms split across

two levels. This splendid facility also has open-air venue options of 50,000 sq. ft lawn, an

expansive outdoor exhibition area. JECC is located merely 15 minutes away from the

Jaipur International Airport and offers parking space for more than 2,000 vehicles.

Within a span of just 4 short years, JECC has been able to establish its identity on a

national level by hosting some of the biggest exhibitions and conventions such as

Resurgent Rajasthan, Jewellery Association Show, Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet,

India Leadership Retreat

Organiser – Herbalife Nutrition

Herbalife organised a 2-day conference called “India Leadership Retreat” in Hall 1 of

Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event was organised from 17th to 18th

November for training their associates. About 2,500 individuals from across the country

took part in the conference. The sessions were followed by gala dinner at the lawn area of

JECC. The associates were given a royal welcome with Dhol and local folk dance.

NH7 Weekender Express

Organiser – OML Entertainment

Bacardi NH7 Weekender Express, an annual multi-city music festival, was held in the

50,000 sq. ft lawn area of Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre on December 1. The

concert was organised by Only Much Louder Entertainment in sponsorship with Bacardi.

More than 1,500 youngsters took part in the concert that was arranged by OML

Entertainment. The bands performed include The Local Train, Dualist Enquiry,

Aswekeepsearching, Parvaaz and Dhruv Vishvanath.

NSICON

Organiser – Neurological Society of India

The 67th Annual Conference of the Neurological Society of India (NSICON 2018) held from

13th to 16th December in the hall and convention centre of Jaipur Exhibition and

Convention Centre. The conference was organised by Neurological Society of India in joint

association with American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Society of Indian

Neurosurgeons, Neuro Welfare Society of Jaipur and Neuro Scientist Society of Jaipur. The

four-day conference was a learning platform for sharing experience, exchanging views,

observing and implementing the good techniques in practice.

Sunburn Arena

Organiser – SAS Entertainment

The Sunburn Arena Tota Myna album launch by Nucleya was held on December 16 in

Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. The show was organised by SAS Entertainment.

The Jaipur concert was supported by Dual Vibes, Dennis Cartier, DJ Ray and Bass Warm

who kicks started the show. The grand finale act saw Nucleya steal the show, who play

both his new album tracks as also spin many new popular remixes. The concert saw more

than 5,000 people groove to his music.

Jaipur Jewellery Show

Organiser - Jaipur Jewellery Show

Jaipur Jewellery Show is a B2B & B2C Jewellery trade fair held annually in December at

Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. Known as the December Show, JJS was organised

from 21st to 24th December 2018. This year theme was Reflection of Royalty and Creativity.

Organised at a exhibiting area of 1,60,000 sq. ft., JJS this year witness more than 40,000

B2B and B2C visitors. People get the opportunity to witness the latest and finest designs

that Gems & Jewellery industry has to offer. 15th edition of Jaipur Jewellery Show had

National and International exhibitors exhibiting at over 800 booths.

RCB Bold League

Organiser – Royal Challengers

Local team from Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Kota battled it out against each

other on December 28 in a unique short-6-over format, to win a chance to play against

RCB at the finale of the second edition of the Royal Challenge Sports Drink Bold League in

Jaipur. Jodhpur Royale won the Jaipur edition match. The match was followed by an

entertaining concert led by popular rapper Badshah along with singer Aastha Gill at Jaipur

Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC).

City Palace

City Palace was built between 1729 and 1732 AD by Sawai Jai Singh who was also known as

founder of Jaipur. It is an astonishing fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture where one can

see forts, gardens, palaces, courtyards, etc. The most visited and prominent structures in the

complex are the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani's Palace, Shri Govind

Dev Temple and City Palace Museum. The palace has three entrance gates: the Udai Pol, Tripolia

Gate and Virendra Pol. The Tripolia Gate is reserved for the royalty, while the Udai Pol and

Virendra Pol are open for public. There are also four small gates in the third courtyard that are

believed to represent four seasons. The peacock Gate represents autumn season, Lotus Gate

symbolises summer season, Leheriya Gate represents spring season, and Rose Gate symbolises

winter season.

The Chandra Mahal has seven floors that include Ranga

Mandir, Sukh Niwas, Pitam Niwas, Shri Niwas, Chabi

Niwas, and Mukut Mahal. The structure has now been

converted into a museum which showcases the rich

heritage of the City Palace. Mubarak Mahal now

represents Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II museum and

displays unique collection of royal costumes, benaras silk

sarees, delicate Kashmiri pashmina shawls, and other

dresses with sanganeri prints and folk embroidery.

The interiors of Diwan-i-Khas have been carved in Shilpa

Shastra format of Indian architecture. The structure also

involves elements of Mughal, European and Rajput

architecture. There are giant silver vessels at the palace,

also known as Gangajelies, have been registered by the

Guinness Book of World Records as the largest sterling

silver vessels in the world. Each vessel has a height of 5

feet and weighs 340 kilograms.

Reaching the City Palace

The City Palace is located in the middle of the old city wall

of Jaipur. The palace is well-connected to various medium

of transportation. You can either take a cab for local site-

seeing or rickshaws to the palace. The best month to

choose for a trip to Jaipur is in between October and

March.
