Functional Lead – Sales / Logistics Provide overall technology leadership for SAP SD / LE / WM area to achieve ACCO Brands strategic objectives. Set, manage expectations, challenge requirements and help establish priorities. Investigate best practices, and participate in the selection & implementation of technology solutions. Establish development and support capability effectively utilizing all available resources. Provide support for mission-critical applications. Integrate SAP functional development and support capabilities within the North American support framework. Establish successful development and implementation strategies for new systems or system enhancements within SAP modules. Translating business/user requirements into functional specifications to architecture and design. Analyze and document ongoing internal customer requests for additional features, functionality, integrations, etc. Designing applications and activities related to that, including configuring SAP / third party applications. Develop user documentation for delivered solutions in order to facilitate ongoing production support activities and user training. Implementing and reviewing appropriate testing & quality assurance activities. Plan the development activities for projects. Understanding of project planning tools. Act as the Subject Matter Expert in SAP LE/WM; providing support and training on current applications. Helping resolve configuration, program and other issues; investigating user problems and initiating corrective action. Establish successful relationship with internal/external customers and vendor directly. This interaction may take the form of coordinating with a customer's information technology department for EDI, master data, report data and scheduling of jobs. Drive continuous process improvement with use of technology solutions by demonstrating value-add propositions and effective communication of IT value to the business. Interacting with management to assess needs, assign priorities; learn new technologies and techniques as appropriate. Position Qualifications: 

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent technical work experience is required.

Equivalent work experience must include: 5 years general Information Technology experience, with 3+ successful SAP project roles and 2-5 years specific business/technical process area experience in SAP SD / LE is required.

5 years of general IT operations and systems development, configuration and support.

Experience in all phases of the project lifecycle, including: User requirements, analysis, design, development and implementation of SAP SD, LE, WM functionalities.

Extensive experience in configuring SAP SD and LE functions. Expertise in configuration of Shipping and Transportation functions such as Delivery

Processing, Delivery Types, Packing List, Picking List, Goods Issue, Transportation processing, Routing and Route Determination, STOs, etc. Configuration of Transportation Planning points, Shipping Points, Shipping Type.

Familiar with BAPIs, IDOCs and integration to PI. Good to have experience with SAP WM processes for Receiving & Put away, Inbound &

Outbound transaction processing, HU configuration & Management, RF picking & put away, Replenishment, Shipping, Kitting and Physical Inventory, Vendor Management, Batch Management, Serialization, Inventory & WM Industry Best practices.

Extensive experience in gathering business requirements, blueprinting, functional and technical design, configuration, gap analysis to customizations, unit and integration testing, go-live and post go-live support.

Proficient in analyzing and translating business requirements to function design and architecture.

Experience configuring and customizing SAP Applications to meet business needs. Business process expertise and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. Proven organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities

independently and meet deadlines under pressure. Ability to partner with key business stakeholders, functional groups and development

teams to deliver projects on time and within budget; offshore team management a plus. Background experience in global enterprise systems implementation and

management, management reporting systems, sales and marketing systems, manufacturing systems, financial transaction systems and data warehouse systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to communicate within project team as well as with the business, leveraged IT personnel.

Strong understanding of development processes, tools, and methodologies. Willingness to take on challenges, sometimes in unfamiliar areas, and learn what is

required to succeed in the assignment. Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills: detail oriented. Strong negotiation, communication and people management skills. Possess basic leadership, organizational and time management skills. Self-directed and uses judgment to proactively seek guidance from management or

update status to management. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
