Martha Januarie is an administrative assistant at Villion Farms - Boplaas.

Lerea (Lya) Klaaste is a health worker on the farm Dessie and is also the farm’s first aid, health and safety representative.

Anna Wildschutt is a community worker from the Goedgedacht farm outside Riebeek Kasteel.

Anrich Koning is a Manager at Highlands (between Beaufort West and Loxton), where he manages two farms.

Willie Booysen is a Junior Manager at Jonkersdrift and he is the chairperson of the farm committee handling labour issues on the farm.

Jacob Diratsagae is a Junior Manager on Broodkraal Estate (Bergsig) in Piketberg for the past four years.

Dawn Hansen has been employed at Diepgat farm for the past 6 year. She works as a Grade-R teacher at the school.

Jeffrey Stuurman is a junior manager on the farm De Breede Boerdery. He is very involved in the community and is the chairperson of the tug-of-war club and farm watch.

Jacintha September works at De Grendel and is involved in the vineyards, i.e. pruning, trellising of vines, pest monitoring and planting of new vines.

Johan Jantjies is a Middle Manager on the farm La Colline for the past 28 years.

Lewellin Lewies is a Junior Manager at the farm Bo-Radyn for the past 22 years.

Cornel Paulse is a Junior Manager at Glenwood Vineyards, since 2011.

Alex Shoko is a Middle Manager on Moutons Valley Farm in Piket Bo-Berg. Alex is a dedicated and hard working individual.

The Western Cape’s top Farm Worker will be announced at a gala function on Saturday, 7 November 2015.

A total of 1 247 Farm workers participated in the competition, a 20% increase from last year. Every par-ticipant plays an important role in food security.
