Principal’s Message Hello and happy Fall All Star families! October is a long, fun filled month; be sure to check our ‘Upcoming Events’ section to make 

sure that you are in the know for all of the happenings! Along with f-u-n, Fall also brings us distinct weather changes--please write your child’s name on the tag of his/her sweaters and jackets to ensure that miscellaneous clothing left out on the playground can be returned to its rightful owner. Lastly, we’d like to thank you for your efforts to have students to school on time (every minute counts). As a reminder, both gates will close at 8:00, arrivals after that time will need to report to the office for a late slip.   Event Highlights Movie Night:   Come one, come all to our 1st movie night of the year, Friday, 10/4! Toy Story 4 is our movie of choice. Come early (5:30) to grab some nachos, hot dogs, and any other movie snacks. Movie starts at 6 pm! Students must be accompanied by an adult to attend. $1 entry. All proceeds go right back to your All Stars!  Fall Carnival: Our fall carnival is scheduled for Friday, October 25th from 4:30 - 7:00. This year’s theme is ALL STAR NATION; make an effort to dress in your most patriotic gear! We will have game booths, vendor booths, bounce houses, live performances, and food trucks to make it a night to remember. Tickets cost 50 cents each. Stay tuned for more information as the date approaches. If you’d like to be a vendor, please contact the school office.   Red Ribbon Week: Red Ribbon Week will take place from 10/28 - 11/1. Students will show they are proud to be drug free through various dress up days. Please keep in mind, masks, excessive face paint, and toy weapons are NOT allowed on 10/31.

School Climate and Culture PBIS Students are working to build STAR habits in all areas of the school daily. We ask that they are mindful of what it means to ‘Be a STAR’ (*Successful*Trustworthy*Accountable*Respectful*). Students can earn STARbucks when caught displaying these behaviors. STARbucks can then be used for snack raffles, entry into the park on Fridays, or to buy their way into our monthly game days.

Mensaje del director ¡Hola y feliz otono familias All Stars! Octubre es un mes largo y divertido; ¡asegúrese de consultar nuestra sección "Próximos eventos" para asegurarse de estar al tanto de todos los acontecimientos! Junto con f-u-n, Otono también nos trae cambios climáticos distintos: escriba el nombre de su hijo en la etiqueta de sus suéteres y chaquetas para asegurarse de que la ropa diversa que se dejó en el patio de recreo pueda devolverse a su legítimo propietario. Por último, nos gustaría agradecerle por sus esfuerzos para que los estudiantes lleguen a la escuela a tiempo (cada minuto cuenta). Como recordatorio, ambas puertas cerrarán a las 8:00, las llegadas después de esa hora deberán presentarse en la oficina para un obtener un pase. ¡Tenga un fabuloso mes octubre!

  Eventos destacados Noche de película: ¡Venga, venga a nuestra primera noche de cine del año, viernes 10/4! Toy Story 4 es nuestra película preferida. Venga temprano (5:30) para tomar algunos nachos, perritos calientes y cualquier otro bocadillo de película. ¡La película comienza a las 6 pm! Los estudiantes deben estar acompañados por un adulto para asistir. Entrada de $ 1. ¡Todas las ganancias van directamente a los All Stars!  Carnaval de otoño: Nuestro carnaval de otoño está programado para el viernes 25 de octubre de 4:30 a 7:00. El tema es vestir con colores de la escuela. Tendremos puestos de juegos, puestos de vendedores, casas de brincolin, actuaciones en vivo y camiones de comida para que sea una noche inolvidable. Los boletos cuestan 50 centavos cada uno. Estén atentos para obtener más información a medida que se acerca la fecha. Si desea ser vendedor, comuníquese con la oficina de la escuela.  Semana de la Liston roja: La Semana del Listón Rojo tendrá lugar del 28/10 al 11/1. Los estudiantes demostrarán que están orgullosos de estar libres de drogas durante varios días de disfraces. Tenga en cuenta que las máscaras, la pintura facial excesiva y las armas de juguete NO están permitidas el 10/31.

Los estudiantes pueden ganar STARbucks cuando muestren estos comportamientos.
