The Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties will hold ahearing on H.R. 558, the "African American Farmers Benefit Relief Act of2007 and H.R. 899,the "Pigford Claims Remedy Act of2007" on Thursday, June 21,2007, at 10:00a.m. in room2141 of the Rayburn House Office Building. I would like you to testify at the hearing.
Please prepare a written statement for submission to the Subcommittee prior to yourappearance. The written statement may be as extensive as you wish and will be included in thehearing record. To allow sufficient time for questions by members at the hearing, you will beallowed up to 5 minutes to make an oral statement briefly highlighting your written testimony.Oral testimony at the hearing, including answers to questions, will be printed as part of theverbatim record of the hearing.
