The Flea

John Donne was the meta physical poet. He was the

pioneer of meta physical poetry. The Flea is a

biographical image used by John Donne.

It is a very small insects, which sucks our blood.

It can fly.

This is a love poem.

Here, the flea sucks blood of both the lovers.

The lover request his lover to not to kill the flea.

The flea means the lover and his beloved.

Both have already became one in the stomach of

flea.
