JWP Consulting, Chicago, Illinois 10/2012 –Present Independent consulting specializing technology infrastructure with a focus on project management.

5 month engagement as SalesForce software development agile project manager at

pharmaceutical firm (Baxter). Developed project plans. Interacted with users to determine

stories and create feature backlog, Defined Sprints and conduct daily Scrums and bi-

weekly Sprint reviews.

Specific projects:

Sunshine Act FDA Compliance Integration. Functioned as Scrum Master leading 10 person team (2 onshore and 8 offshore) Implemented using with Baxter’s existing SalesForce environment using combination of JAVA and Apex to create custom pages in SalesForce to integrate 3rd part applications (e.g. Iinteract, Cvent event planning, and Concur expense reporting systems.) using SOAP and WSDL API’s$750K overall budget and 6 month schedule.

Global Tender (international medical drug RFP’s) consolidation for use in business intelligence and financial forecasting. Led 6person team. Implemented ETL from 133 international BU systems to central SalesForce system using both SOAP and REST approaches. Project completed on time and budget

Performed 6 month engagement as project manager at major retail pharmacy firm

(Walgreens). Responsible for release management and software rollout. Specific projects:

Medicare Part D Provider Comparison for use by retail stores (5 person team) using SOAP to pass information between Central repository mainframe and retail branch servers throughout the US.

DEA Class III-V regulatory compliance GAP project (4 person team) utilizing Amazon’s AWS platform

Reported to CFO. Managing mixed staff (60 internal and 40 offshore consultants) tasked

with implementing new technology across firm. Key accomplishments:

Led $35M European Monetary Union (Euro) Conversion effort. Devised strategic plan and

ran reengineering project. Managed the construction of 4 new operations centers (London,

Paris, Frankfurt, and Milan - each ~ 50,000 ft2) to support Euro trading operations.

Successfully converted the firm’s accounting system to PeopleSoft, reducing annual

operating costs by 30% and improving financial reporting capability. Project was done
