Toni Johnson has many years of experience in the early childhood field, beginning her career as a Preschool Teacher in 2008. Toni has continued to challenge herself by learning more about child development practices, leadership conferences, classes and training. Toni joined our Cornerstone administrative team as the Manager in 2013. She remains the manager of the center and specializes in the Basement for Preschool and School Age Departments.      Toni earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech- Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University.    Before leaving for college, Toni worked at Cornerstone during high School. Toni is a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church in Lyons.        Toni was born and raised in Lyons, Kansas. She grew up on a farm west of town. Toni has two daughters, EmmaRae (2009), Jenna (2015) and a son, Thad (2013).   In her spare time, she enjoys taking pictures and scrapbooking, playing with her children and being with her family. When asked, Toni said her most rewarding accomplishment is, “Knowing that I have the ability to teach children the basics to build a foundation for future learning”. She is most proud of is her children.      Toni’s dream vacation is to visit Australia and visit Disney World in Florida. Her favorite restaurant is Olive Garden and candy bar is Kit Kats or Peanut butter M & M’s. Toni favorite color is purple but yellow is a close 2nd.      Toni just really enjoys teaching the children every day. Spending time with them makes her smile, inside and out.
