Our tour of Budapest begins with a visit to the vibrant and colorful Great Market Hall. The tour through this extensive World Heritage Site features visits to the historic Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion and the beautifully colorful Matthias Church. After Mass we're back at the hotel for a rich Hungarian dinner together.

Today begins with Mass and a tour of St. Stephen's Basilica. We'll then enjoy a panoramic tour of the Royal Palace and the Heroes’ Square. At 5:00 PM we rendezvous at the hotel and depart by private coach for our beautiful riverboat, the AmaCerto. Tonight we will meet our fellow passengers as the ship cruises into Slovakia and towards Bratislava.

Monday, June 3

In the morning we arrive in Bratislava where we'll embark on a walking tour of the city. This tour brings Bratislava’s history to life. We'll see many of the major sights, including the Old Town Hall, the stunning Rococo-style Mirbach Palace and St. Martin’s Cathedral.

Mass: St. Martin's Cathedral

Atlantic OceanFÁTIMA, LOURDES & SHRINES OF SPAIN:

Wednesday, June 5This morning our boat pulls into the charming town of Dürnstein. Situated in the heart of the magnificent Wachau Valley, on the banks of the Danube river, Dürnstein offers a unique combination of breath-taking scenery, traditional architecture, and places of historic interest.

Our morning walking tour through the medieval cobblestone streets reveals 16th century town houses and wine taverns. Marvel at the luminous blue facade of the Baroque Stiftskirche, Dürnstein’s famed church cloister tower, considered the most beautiful of its kind in all of Austria. High above town, you’ll spot the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart, King of England, was imprisoned in 1192. Finish your day with a wine tasting hosted by a local vintner.

Mass: Durnstein Abbey

We're then back on the boat and headed upriver towards Melk, which sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Danube. There we will visit Melk Abbey which is one of Europe’s largest monasteries. After our tour, enjoy free time to explore the picturesque village of Melk, one of Europe’s great cultural heritage sites.

Thursday, June 6

After docking in Linz private motorcoaches will take us directly to Salzburg, an utterly charming Austrian town. First, however, we will stop first at the scenic lakeside town of Mondsee, famous as the site of the wedding church from the "The Sound of Music." Once in Salzburg we will tour the Cathedral where you will also have Mass. We will then embark on a walking tour of the city featuring a visit to the beautifully landscaped Mirabell Gardens, the Getreidegasse with its many decorative wrought iron guild signs, Residenz Square, and the Old Market.

This afternoon we will rejoin the ship now docked in Passau. Passau is also known as the Dreiflüssestadt or "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers all converge here. The town has many notable Baroque buildings and cobblestone streets, especially in the Old Town area. Here we will see the city fortifications and St. Stephan’s Cathedral, home to one of the largest church pipe organs in the world (with 17,774 pipes and 233 registers!).

Mass: Salzburg Cathedral

Friday, June 7

Today we will explore one of Germany's most beautiful cities: Regensburg. The history, sights and landmarks of Regensburg are so densely packed that they are best discovered on foot. Throughout the centuries, patricians and priests, saints and sinners, citizens and craftsmen have left their mark on Regensburg's colorful history. You will hear vivid stories about the people of Regensburg throughout the ages, seeing the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria. The old Stone Bridge, considered a masterwork of medieval construction and an emblem of the city is perfectly located next to one of the oldest restaurants in the world, the Regensburg Sausage Kitchen, notable for its role in catering for the workers who built the bridge. We're then back on the boat for an evening dinner Al Fresco.

Mass: Regensburg Cathedral

Saturday, June 8

Today we will enjoy a scenic morning cruise as the ship crosses the Continental Divide via the Main Danube Canal to Nuremberg. We will then bid farewell to the AmaCerto and board a private bus that will take us directly to our four-star hotel in the heart of Nuremberg. After freshening up we will explore the medieval city center with a tour that showcases the Imperial Castle and the famous town wall, as well as Albrecht Dürer’s home and Market Square with its legendary fountain. We will then enjoy a final farewell dinner together.

Mass: Church of our Lady

Sunday, June 9

Today a private driver will take us directly to the airport where you will depart for the United States. Goodbye, Europe! Until next time!
