Gathering Words
With rushing wind and holy fire . . .
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
With tongues of flame and hopes rekindled . . .
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
With visions birthed and dreams restored . . .
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
With spacious grace and depth untold . . .
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
With rushing wind and holy fire . . .
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
Hymn
Opening Prayer
We gather today O God, our guide and guardian,
remembering those who have nurtured us,
protected us, and helped us grow.
We give you thanks for homes that accept us
and affirmed us as your precious children.
In the shelter of your healing love,
fortify us as living stones,
and build us into a spiritual home
where all are welcome.
In the name of Christ,
our foundation and cornerstone, we pray, Amen.

Blessing of the Prayer Warrior
Spirit of wind and flame,
blow open the doors we erect
to keep ourselves sealed off from your world.
We long to be set free from the fears that jail us
and to be released from chains that bind us.
We yearn to draw near to your source
of living water,
and to drink deeply from its well.
We want to be cleansed in your holy fire,
and to be driven into the streets
by your winds of grace.

Congratulations to:
The Berkeys adopted a rescue puppy named Ollie.
He came to our house last week at 8 weeks old. He
is a pitbull/boxer mix (they think). Please pray for
us for potty training and sleep-filled nights lol.
Leader: Come to us, and heal us once more,
Mighty Spirit,
that we may embrace your gifts
in service to a world in need. Amen.

Drive Up Parking Lot Services: Join us at 9:30 am. We will be live-streaming on
our YouTube channel as well so you can hear in
your car or just watch comfortably from home. Feel
free to email us your special Hymn requests
to [email protected] with a line as to
why it is meaningful for you. Please let us know if
your car will attend so we can measure parking lot
space. Please help us follow all the necessary
guidelines by leaving an empty space between all
cars and staying inside your car at all times. There
will also be no exchange of materials between
leaders and attendees. Full information can be

We are going to continue to try to Help Asbury Help A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital Patients. We are still planning to try a different plan for fleece blankets this year and see how it goes and pray that we are back together soon to make this happen. For now, to help us start making fleece tie-blankets this year, please collect fleece material (or cash donations) to donate! For now, one great place to buy the fleece is JoAnn Fabrics Online. Be on the lookout for sales and coupons and their free shipping or curbside pick-up/delivery during the current times! The fleece fabric needs to be a piece at least 1 and ½ yards, either patterned or solid. You could also buy two matching pieces to make a complete blanket or one piece and we will match it with another later. Also, if you are super motivated and crafty, because I am worried we will be very behind with our donations, if you want to learn how to make one and have a computer, Kim Berkey can set up a virtual online (Zoom) meeting (individually or with a group) so we can all cut and tie one together so everyone knows what to do and can make that one or continue with others after the call – if you are interested in that, please call Kim on her cell – leave a message if you don’t get an answer right away. With your help, let’s beat our record again this year to help demonstrate God’s love and care for these little ones!
