William Christie, Les Arts Florissants has become

one of the most internationally acclaimed Baroque

vocal and instrumental ensembles.

Committed to performing baroque music on period

instruments, Les Arts Florissants played a pioneering

role in the rediscovery of a lost 17th- and 18th-century

European repertoire whose modernity and pertinence

they have championed ever since.
