WHAT IS THE GROWN-UP SPELLING BEE?This is a fun adult team event to benefit the Pearland ISD Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enriches teaching and inspires learning in Pearland ISD.

HOW DOES THE BEE WORK?Teams of three adults work together to spell words and vie for the chance to be crowned Best Spellers in Pearland. Players score team points during each preliminary lighteninground. The top three teams will enter in a sudden death match to spell as many words as possible in 1 minute.

WHY SUPPORT THE GROWN-UP SPELLING BEE?The spelling bee directly benefits Pearland ISD students and teachers. Money raised will support innovative educational programs and activities that fall outside Pearland ISD’s operating budget.
