What to expect During this one-week program, a small, exceptional group of freshmen andsophomores will be immersed in our startup-minded and innovative culturewhile exploring and developing the technology and problem solving skillsvalued by today’s top employers. If chosen for this highly selective program, you’ll take part in technical and soft-skill training sessions–examples fromprevious Summits include iOS, Android, Voice Driven Applications, AWS, M.E.A.N. Stack, Hardware, Front End Design and more. The week wraps upwith a rigorous hackathon and presentation to Capital One leadership and includes some awesome fun events along the way.
Location Held at our Clarendon Lab just outside of Washington D.C., the Summit isan awesome opportunity to network with Capital One engineers and otherstudents from top colleges and universities. Capital One will be responsiblefor all participant travel and accommodations–your job is to learn, challengeyourself, and code side-by-side with our talented engineers!
Qualifications
• 3.0 GPA or Higher• Technical and/or quantitative major: Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, etc. • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, conceptual skills and coding ability. • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
