PLANNING CULTURE

Planning cultures are complex institutional matrices comprising formal and informal institutional spheres at a certain time and place.

(Reimer, 2013)

Planning culture refers to the role perceptions, values,

interpretations, beliefs, attitudes and collective ethos of the actors involved in planning processes.

Analysis of the institutional settings in different countries is important framework for the analysis of planning culture.
