IABg – gibs Joint Venture

The two companies joined forces in 2009 to form a Joint Venture, and was awarded one of the two ITAM VIII US Army Europe Support Contracts (USAREUR Integrated Training Area Management Support Contract W912GB-10-D-005).

The combined strength of both companies offer comprehen-sive services for the Integrated Training Area Management program throughout USAREUR’s Area of Responsibility:

� Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) � Training Requirements Integration (TRI) � Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) � Sustainable Range Awareness (SRA) � Geographic Information Systems � Aerial Photography and Remote Sensing � Natural Resource Management

In addition, the Joint Venture has partnered with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands at Colorado State University. Since 1985 the Center has supported the U.S. Department of Defense, providing professional technical services in natural and cultural resources management and environmental conservation.

The Center assists military trainers and land managers in the maintenance of healthy, diverse ecosystems to support sus-tained, realistic military training and testing exercises.
