About the Day

Join us for the Annual Spurs & CASA "SpeakOut For Kids" 5K Run/Walk. This race is a

joint effort between the San Antonio Spurs &Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) and combines the two races that have been held separately in the past. Whether you have previously participated in the Spurs 5K Run/Walk,the CASA 5K, or are new to the event we knowthat you will find this new race the best yet.

CASA MissionThe mission of CASA is to recruit, train andsupervise court-appointed advocates who provide constancy for abused and neglected children and youth while advocating for servicesand placement in safe and permanent homes.

Child Abuse Intervention- A portion of every entry fee will benefit abused

and neglected children in San Antonio.- Other local agencies will be on hand to

provide information on how you can help inthe fight against child abuse in San Antonio.

Important InformationTo ensure the safety of all our participants, bicycles,skateboards, roller skates or blades and animals will notbe allowed in the race or on the course (except serviceanimals). Baby joggers or strollers will be allowed but forsafety reasons must start at the back of the race.
