8- Abedulrazzak Abo Mohaisen Workshop This workshop specialized in handmade and customized daggers made in the traditional Jordanian way, a method that has been passed down through five generations of Abedulrazzak Abo Mohaisen’s family. 9- Saqer for Handmade Artifacts (Olive wood) Eyad Saqer has been carving items out of wood for more than 22 years. 17- Families Development Association Established in 1999 and initiated by Mrs. Meyassar Al-Saadi, the association seeks to enable women in poor and marginalized areas in Jordan by providing them with training, job opportunities and support. Around 300 women were skilled in handcraft production and work from home under the supervision of the association. They produce embroidery, bamboo accessories and gifts, combining traditional Palestinian and Jordanian designs. Their products are ideal for homes, offices and exhibits. 18- Al Nozha Women’s Cooperative Society Launched in 2000, Al Nozha Women’s Cooperative was established by a group of women who trained and worked at the Noor Al Hussein Foundation. 19- Iraq Al Amir Women’s CooperativeThe Iraq Al Amir Women’s Cooperative Society was established in 1993 by Noor Al Hussein Foundation. Offering a variety of products that are environmentally-friendly, such as paper produced from natural materials and plant stems, including cladium, arundo, okra, banana and more. They also make soaps using the best olive oil. In addition, the cooperative produces fabrics, weavings, rugs, pottery and ceramics for tableware and company gifts. 20- Society for the Development of Rural WomenOffering a wide variety of rural handicrafts, the society’s showroom features the work of more than 150 local community women. 21- The Jordan River Foundation Showroom Located in the heart of Amman, the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) Showroom offers an exceptional selection of traditional and contemporary handicrafts created by women from local communities working under the JRF Designs Project, the Bani Hamida Women’s Weaving Project and Wadi Al-Rayan. 23- Beit Shocair Restaurant This family-run restaurant is located in a heritage building that started out as a house and was converted to a school. Today it has been renovated as a house of cultural heritage and a restaurant. Beit Shocair has seven handicraft showrooms, a restaurant and a room displaying some of the family’s antique home furnishings. The showrooms offer a variety of handmade crafts produced by 16 full time artisans. From photographs and portraits, to jewellery, pottery, ceramics, glassware, and even customized t-shirts and mugs, there is something for everyone. 1- Nebo’s PearlsEstablished by handicraft entrepreneur Ibrahim Zrieki, Nebo’s Pearls offers a wide variety of pottery items, mosaics, hand-painted ostrich eggs, jewellery, arabesque furniture, Dead Sea organic products, embroideries, and recycled wood carvings. 3- Philadelphia Mosaic Workshop A graduate of Madaba Mosaic Art and Restoration, Ziad Aziz is a certified mosaics trainer with a solid record of accomplishment in designing and producing items inspired by the rich heritage of the city of Madaba, Jordan’s cradle of mosaic art. 5- Virgin Mary Mosaic Workshop This workshop was set up in 2006 by professional artisan Kholoud Abu Duqer, who quit her day job to establish her own handicrafts venture. Wall hangings, coasters, fridge magnets, medallions, murals, garden tables, portraits and photo frames are decorated with traditional mosaic designs using natural stone. The designs are inspired by Madaba’s legacy of mosaic art and produced by 3 qualified artisans. The workshop supports many women who work from home. 7- Peace WorkshopThe purpose of this workshop is to enable, train and employ people with disabilities, and was established by Mr. Osama Abu Al-Ghanam who has two sons with disabilities. The workshop employs a number of people with disabilities from the local community who were trained in handcraft production. Osama Abu Al-Ganam’s workshop offers a unique mix of handicrafts including mosaics, ceramics, and hand-painted ostrich eggs inspired by the rich heritage of Madaba. 8- Umm al Rasas Women’s Cooperative Society The Society was founded by a group of local artisans from Umm al Rasas; a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a Roman garrison walled city and 14 churches. The workshop offers training in embroidery, mosaics, and jewellery making. 9- The Bani Hamida Women Weaving Project Established by the Jordan River Foundation, Bani Hamida gained international acclaim for its legacy of premium Bedouin rugs featuring superb weaving, exceptional quality wools and dazzling designs. 3- Beit Al NabulsiThe Beit Al Nabulsi handcraft showroom was established early 2012 at Irbid Visitor centre. It displays traditional handicrafts developed by local community entrepreneurs from Irbid. Training courses were organized for the loal community. The exhibits vary and change regularly to accommodate as many producers as possible and offer new products to customers. Crafts include traditional embroidery, ceramics, mosaics, soaps, wood carvings and accessories.

4- Women Business Development Incubator (WBDI)Established in 2002 by the Noor Al Hussein Foundation, the Women Business Development Incubator (WBDI) offers handcrafts developed by the rural women of the Bani Kenanah District, North of Jordan. WBDI displays a large collection of traditional home accessories, furniture, cosmetics and stationary made from special local material including bamboo, banana and palm leaves, camel hair fabrics, cotton and linen all produced by 90 home-based community female artisans.

1- Aqaba Micro Business Incubator Established in 2008 by the Noor Al Hussein Foundation, the Aqaba Micro Business Incubator (AMBI) offers handicrafts developed by local community entrepreneurs from Aqaba. Crafts include traditional embroidery and wooden souvenirs developed with modern designs. You will find a wide range of home and office accessories, as well as special gift items. These are produced by eight fulltime artisans. The incubator supports both in-house and external projects.

2- Ghour Haditha Women Handcraft Workshop Empowering local community women of Ghour Haditha area through handcrafts training, the workshop was founded by the Rehabilitation National Society and is supported by the Jordan Potash Company. The shop offers natural handmade Dead Sea products in addition to handmade soaps, jewellery, embroideries, purses, leather wallets, frames, toys and fabric prints. Tourist training is available.

3- Nabataean Ladies Cooperative Established in 1999 by professional artisan Fawziya Hasanat, with support from Noor Al Hussein Foundation, with the aim of integrating women in the development and revival of the craft of silver production and creation of jobs for women from the local community. A variety of Petra-inspired jewellery and other silver items are found here, made by 20 women. From Nabataean necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, silver chains and coins, to chokers, headdresses, anklets, armbands, amulets and pendants, the selection is extensive. All products are inspired by the local culture and heritage of Petra. Courses for tourists are available.

4- Petra Pottery Association Established in 2005 to revive the art of Nabataean handcrafts, the Association offers a range of unique Nabataean painted fine ware, ceramics, mosaics, handmade oven- safe stoneware and pottery items by seven full time professional artisans. Products are a mix of traditional and modern motifs featuring ancient Nabataean art, many of which are designed for functional use. The workshop empowers local community women artisans and supports over 76 families in Al-Taybah area. International delivery is available.

5- Burda Women’s CooperativeEstablished in 2002 by 2nd generation artisan Um Nayef, the Burda Women’s Cooperative features a variety of handcrafts produced by three local women including home-based artisans. Items include hand-woven rugs, bags, runners, carpets, pillowcases, home accessories, jewellery and natural soaps with high quality raw material sourced from Wadi Rum, Dead Sea and Petra. 4- Salt Professions and Traditional Craft Institute (SPTCC)The institute was established in 1987 in cooperation with Noor Al Hussein Foundation and Salt Development Corporation, funded by the Italian Government. In 2003 the institute became part of the Vocation Training Corporation, which was established in 1976. This institute is currently one of the main Vocational Training Centers in the central area of Jordan.
