In this position, I was responsible for managing the floor, which includes determining where guests will be seated so that each wait staff was not overloaded in their sections. I supervised the co-hosts to ensure each guest was properly greeted and informed if there would be a delay in seating them at their assigned table. I kept management informed if I was not able to solve guest complaints. I was responsible for calculating and distributing tips to support staff on a nightly basis as well as sales of Restaurant Gift Cards.

In this position, I greeted and seated guests as directed. I performed Cashier duties including handling cash, credit cards and checks. I was responsible for keeping the waiting and salad bar areas clean and presentable.
