Thomas, Paige, Elizabeth & Jacob Queen (our missionaries in South Africa; Suite H17, P/Bag X9118; Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, 3200): God's will is becoming clearer for our family this month. Our roles as volunteer coordinators at Ethembeni are becoming more clearly defined. We get our first mission team this week from England. We even got Ethembeni branded tee shirts so we are official! The site for the church plant has been narrowed. The classes we are teaching are growing. House visits have been a blessing. Elizabeth and Jacob continue to thrive. We are so thankful for all God is doing in our lives and in those lives we come in contact with daily. Praises: The Grove Level Missions Cafe donation to our family. What a blessing!; The Baptist Global Response donating over 200 Bibles to give away on house visits; God providing clarity in direction for the church plant; 28 Christmas shoe boxes for the patients in Shiyabazali. Requests: Discernment in setting up a productive routine schedule for volunteers; God to use the St. Paul's mission team from England in a mighty way the next two weeks; God to provide the place, people, and finances needed to start a new church plant; Traveling mercies for our family over Christmas break- to refresh us and to enjoy the break; Opportunities to share the gospel and for seeds we have planted to bear fruit. M&H (serving in East Asia; 504 Cherees Way; Dalton, GA 30720): As Christmas approaches, we are looking forward to all that will be happening in our part of the world. Next week, we will receive a team of college students who will be in our city over the holidays. We will be attending and throwing many Christmas parties and events. Christmas provides a very natural and simple way to share the truth about J3sus. Praise G)d that He has come to us! We are asking that even now, G)d is preparing the hearts of many students who will hear and respond to the truth of the g)spel this Christmas season. From our family to yours, we wish you a very merry Christmas. Requests: Please lift up our short term Christmas team. Ask that their work will be fruitful. Please pr@y for our 2 semester workers. One of them will return home in January while the other will extend and receive a new partner. Please continue to pr@y for our seeker study. Please lift up a student named John who seems very interested in the truth. Praises: In November, we enjoyed celebrating Michael's birthday, our 3rd wedding anniversary, and Thanksgiving. We are planning to b@pt1ze two new believers next month. We count this as a great privilege. Ask that many would come to this service and hear the truth. As always, we are thankful for G)d's word and the truth and effectiveness of his g)spel. BJabc (serving in Northern Africa; 4551 Old Dalton Rd NE; Rome, GA 30165): We hope you all are doing well. We miss you! Enjoy the Christmas Season, we love it here, even though its tropical weather and from what I hear it’s pretty tropical there too...Partners - We have been encouraged the past few weeks by the nationals who are working alongside us. Praise Him for partners that share unhindered about the love they have seen and tasted. Please ask the Father to encourage them. Last week was spent with teams working on stories in 4 different languages. Please ask for these stories to spread through their parts of the country. Family - We are so excited about this season. Our children recently were all in school plays and will be out of school on Friday. Ask for good family time together while they are out of school. B will be a part of a men’s retreat after Christmas, ask for good fellowship among the men, it is much needed time for them. Work - We have started working with a new MBB and her sister that is MU, please ask for F to see Truth and believe. B has been working with several groups that has seen much fruit, we ask that the new followers will share quickly about the Son to their friends and family. Also, please ask for fruitful followers as we start a few new groups in the next month. We ask for His kingdom to spread quickly through the country. Merry Christmas! Janna Plemons (working at Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras, August 8-December 21): Thank you all for praying for me during my time in Honduras. It was a good trip, a great experience, but I am very glad to be home. Pray that I would settle back in at home. Pray that God would open doors for me in the future and that I will continue to serve in the city of Dalton. Pray for me as I go to Dalton State in the Spring. Pray that I will work hard and be diligent in my studies. I am afraid that I will get a different kind of culture shock coming from Honduras to here. Brian & Ashley Jones (student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary; 704 Ridgetop Way; Wake Forest, NC 27587): A couple praises: Brian managed to get through Greek and did very well in his other class, so we give God all the glory there! Please be praying for Ashley, she will be transferring jobs in a few weeks. She got a full time position at the seminary, so that provides health and benefits for us, again glory to God! Pray for her that it will be an easy transition both logistically and emotionally as it will be hard for her to leave her precious kids at the preschool. We love you all and wish you all a Merry Christmas! Troy Poe (answered the call to vocational ministry; 556 Harvest Way; Dalton, GA 30721): Thank you for the prayers and encouragements. Please pray for my friends and me as we leave to go to Urbana Sunday morning. I cannot wait to see how God moves in each one of our lives at this conference. Pray for discernment and guidance over each one of us. Thank you and Merry Christmas! Mark & Gynnette Yoho (Fourth Watch Ministry; 840 Mountain Loop Rd NW; Sugar Valley, GA 30746): "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....." Can you hear Bing Crosby sing it? But a 70 degree forecast does not really match up with what most of us think when we think of what Christmas should be like. But last Friday evening when I hit the streets of Gatlinburg to pass out Christmas tracts, it was spitting a pretty good snow. As the flakes fell over 900 people took Gospel tracts and many smiled as they returned, "And Merry Christmas to you." I love telling people "Merry Christmas" and I said it thousands of times as we handed out close to 5,000 Christmas tracts in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I still have just under 1,000 December 23, 2015

Josh & Hannah Bowen (seminary student at Boyce School/

Southern Baptist Theological

Seminary; 107 Fenley Avenue, Apt

Q3; Louisville, KY 40207): There are

a group of three at work (including me)

that have agreed to meet on

Wednesday mornings early at the office and do a Bible study. We are

simply going through Colossians. I am excited about this and wanted to

ask for your prayers. Hannah and the kids are doing great! We love our

church and friends. There are so many encouraging families that are

keeping up with us and we are trying to do the same. We miss Dalton a

lot, and our familiar family at GLBC, but there is no doubt in my mind

we are where God wants us right now. Thank you for your patience

and continued prayer!

Chad Keeter (Navigators Ministry, Staff; 825 Gaines School Road,

Apt 219; Athens, GA 30605): Thank you so much for continuing to

pray for me! It’s been a joy for me to spend time back in Dalton. Please

pray for this time to be restful and that I would have a good time with

my family. I love you guys!

Emily Payne (answered the call to

vocational ministry; 1913 Beaverdale Road

NE; Dalton, GA 30721): Thank you for

praying for me throughout this semester at

Dalton State! I appreciate it so, so much. It is

a praise to have it behind me and the holidays

before me! I also want to thank everyone who

came to our wedding shower! We really feel

so blessed to be a part of such a loving church family! Thank you all

for making us feel so loved! Chad and I are moving some stuff down to

Athens today, would you pray for us as we travel? Thank you all so

much for your precious prayers!

that I will be attempting to pass out before Christmas day. Last week at

La Senda Antigua I preached with the paint-board to a rather good

sized crowd. I gave the invitation and 2 young men responded to Pastor

Jose's office where he counseled them for salvation. Praise the Lord.

Coming up we will preach a watch-night service at Grace Community

Baptist in Sugar Valley, then our calendar gets pretty quiet for a couple

of weeks in which we will be spending time with the Lord praying for

our ministry. Thanks so much for your prayers and support. Blessings

and Merry Christmas!

Michelle Parham (answered the call

to vocational ministry; 1812 Glenbrook

Place; Dalton, GA 30720): Merry

Christmas! Please pray that I will be

spiritually ready for Christmas Day! Also

pray that I will find my satisfaction in

Christ and be content in Him! I love you

all and am excited about the coming days!

David, Kellie Crowe & Family (church planters w/ Greene Community

Church in Waynesburg; 417 Craig Run

Road; Waynesburg, PA 15370): Pray for

our men as I seek to mature them and

equip them for ministry in our church and

community! Thank you and praying you

all have a Merry Christmas!

Kristen Bowen (currently attending

North Greenville University with plans to

do the Journeyman program with the IMB; 7801 N. Tigerville Road,

Box 2282; Tigerville, SC 29688): Thank you for your support in prayer

and all the other ways you support me! I am

excited about spending Christmas with my

family, the older I get the more I realize how

special those times are. Next week it will be

been 3 years since my Papaw passed away and

this season is full of memories that are sweet

but also vividly remind me and my family of

his absence. I am sure many of you can relate

with that. Please pray for us as we remember

him and praise God for what we he has given

and what he has taken away, knowing that he has a time and purpose

for everything. Also I have some 'pre-semester' school work to get

done over the 'holiday' pray for me to be able to give it time and

attention. And things with the IMB are complicated right now, please

pray for guidance in the process of figuring out what to do post

graduation. Thanks again for your fellowship and partnership in the

gospel! I love y'all!

Julie Parham (answered the call to vocational ministry; 1812

Glenbrook Place; Dalton, GA 30720): Thank you

for all the prayers. I have been going through a

rough season in my life and can’t seem to get out

of it. Please pray for healing in my life. Please

pray that I will spend more time with the Lord

and seek after Him. Also pray for my schooling at

Moody. I have about two weeks until I go off to

Chicago. Thank you for praying and for loving

me!

Bryan & Brittany Kelly (Boyce School/

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; 315

Crescent Court; Louisville KY 40206): We

leave tomorrow. We couldn’t be more ready to

be home and see you all Sunday! Praying you

all have a Merry Christmas! Remember us

tomorrow as we travel. We hope the bad

weather will hold off until we get home.
