referred by the ENT Department to
the Department of prosthodontics
after surgery due to osteosarcoma
*On examination, left & right subtotal
maxillectomies had been performed
*Portion of the nasal
septum,part of
inferior nasal conchae
& superior wall of
maxillary sinuses
*
*Immediate followed by interim
obturator after 1 month
*Fabrication of the definite prosthesis
after 4 months in the form of a two
piece hollow bulb obturator

1 Impression procedure
2 Fabrication of the antral part
3 Followed by the oral part
