About SJIAOS

• Flagship journal of the International Association for Official Statistics.

• Widely circulated and subscribed to by individuals and institutions in all parts of the world.

• Main aim is to support the IAOS mission by publishing articles to promote understanding and advancement of official statistics and to foster development of effective and efficient official statistical services on a global basis.

• All papers are refereed.

How is SJIAOS organized?

• We have an editorial staff consisting of: Editor-in-Chief (three years), Editor-in-Chief Emeritus, Managing Editor, Technical Editor.

• We have an editorial board composed of regional and special emphasis experts from all over the world.

• The Editor-in-Chief directs manuscripts deemed to have a potential contribution to our mission to these experts.

• They in turn solicit the help of one or more reviewers to determine if a manuscript is suitable for publication.

Achievements July 2017 – July 2018

Statistics

We published:

• 64 manuscripts

• 706 pages

• 4 issues (published every quarter)

We strive to have international participation and appeal:

• Manuscripts came from 32 countries

• We promoted SJIAOS at 6 international conferences

• Our mailing list reaches 8,000 individuals
