• Apply with a team of friends to own a business

• Arrive on Friday night to set up your shop and sleepover

• Compete on Saturday in a full day of challenges

Journey World Programs

• DJ Sound Mixing: Learn how to use the sound equipment in the Media Center that plays music and news throughout the city. Make your own mix to broadcast and try your hand at developing a radio lineup.

• Journalism 101: Become an ace reporter at the Media Center. Learn what makes an awesome radio story, and read your own story on the air.

• SWAPS with Friends: Create special Girl Scout SWAPS and learn how to make excellent products for the Retail Shop. Then, swap with your friends!

• Tool Time: Learn how to use basic tools to create items to sell at the retail shop. Then, sell your products to your fellow Girl Scouts.

• History of Money: Discover the fascinating facts behind money from around the world. Develop your own currency and learn how the Bank works.

• Chef Skills: Learn how to make delicious snacks at the Snack Shop. Develop your own recipes, and learn all the skills a chef has to have (including supply ordering and money management).

• Recycled Art: Repurpose recyclables to make unique art creations. Reusing materials leads to sustainability, the cornerstone of the Community Trust in the city.

• Flags and Symbols: Learn to decode the secret language of flags, and what special symbols mean. Create your own flag for City Hall and develop a code all your own.

Workshops

Take on a new role, start a business with friends, and solve one of the epic challenges listed below!Challenges

• Superhero City: Fight off the forces of evil as a superhero at Journey World! Work together with your fellow superheroes to save your city from certain disaster.

• Zombie Apocalypse: In the wake of a worldwide zombie infection, a small group of Girl Scouts has united to build a new city. Keep each other safe and fight off the zombies once and for all!

• Water Crisis: A water shortage has forced a small band of intrepid young explorers to found a new city. Work together to get your new city up and running and solve the water crisis!

• Space Station: In the year 2116, the first human colony to live on a space station is ready to launch. Work together to build your new community on a space station with limited resources!

• Earthquake Disaster: An earthquake has devastated a young city’s infrastructure. Work together to rebuild your city, solve infrastructure problems, keep each other safe, and build a thriving economy!

• Diagon Alley: No matter if you’re a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin, if you want to start your own business in Diagon Alley, this one’s for you. Get your new business up and running in the middle of the Wizarding world.

• Mount Olympus: Love Greek mythology and epic stories? Girl Scouts work together with the Pantheon of Greek mythology to build an ancient Greek metropolis and stop the forces of evil from taking over the world.

Jamboree• Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors may

apply with a team of four to seven people. • Each participant must have previously completed a

Journey World Challenge.
