Pause a few seconds (count to ten).
You can control yourself.

known at once, (Prov 29:11 NKJV) A fool vents all hisfeelings, But a wise man holds them back.

We do not need to respond to
everything that happens.We may be wise to just pass.
(Prov 19:11 NKJV) The discretion of a manmakes him slow to anger, And his glory is to
overlook a transgression.

Be careful what you say or doSometimes we do need to respond.
We must be careful not to say or do
something that would hurt othersor our own souls.
(Prov 15:1 NKJV) A soft answer turns away
wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.(Prov 21:23 NKJV) Whoever guards his mouthand tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

person be showing toward another.You may be holding on to past
anger.

It is serving God and saving souls.(Eccl 12:13 KJV) Fear God, andkeep his commandments: for this is the
whole duty of man.(Prov 11:30 KJV) and he thatwinneth souls is wise.

Greater service means greater joy.We have reason to give the best
service.
The more we serve, the more weenjoy serving.

That is why there is so much in theBible about joy and rejoicing.
(3 John 1:4 NKJV) I have no greater joy
than to hear that my children walk in truth.(Acts 15:3 NKJV) [Conversions]caused
great joy to all the brethren.
(1 Th 2:20 NKJV) For you are our joy.(Phil 4:4 NKJV) Rejoice in the Lord always.
