Westies Camp!

Junior Activities Director Ann Lehmann began working at TWC

in 2007. She worked at the Greenwich Country Club for over 20 years as the camp director before coming to The Westmoor Club. During her tenure at The Greenwich Country Club, Ann developed the blueprint used in many of the Fairfield County Country Club camps. She is proud to have brought this expertise and enthusiasm to The Westmoor Club.

Ann has been teaching in York, Pa., for 31 years and is presently teaching second grade. She has her degree in early childhood and elementary education. Ann also has her masters degree in education and is certified in CPR, AED and first aid.

Ann enjoys reading, gardening, walking, and visiting Nantucket beaches. Ann and her husband, Skip (TWC Aquatics Director), will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary in August.

Sports Camp!

Our Sports Director was born in 1955 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. As a junior in

college, Wayne concentrated on squash and soon graduated into the state ranks. In the early 1980’s, he played professionally in Europe, winning several major tournaments in southern France.

When “Real Tennis” became the sport, Wayne was Australia’s first Real Tennis World Champion, from 1987-1994. In the past twenty years he has been ranked either first or second in the world. Before coming to Westmoor in 2005, Wayne was head tennis pro at the New York Racquet Club (1982-1997).

In 2005, Wayne took up the sport of croquet so it could be offered to Westmoor Club members. It should come as no surprise that less than two years later, he placed 5th in U.S. Nationals. In 2009, Wayne travelled back to his homeland to play in the Australian Open and receive his Level II Teaching Certification in croquet. He is the first U.S. player to have this training.

Each child receives instruction in the following:

Lunch and snacks are included for all children.
