Life is but a stopping place,A pause in what’s to be.

A resting place along the road,to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,Different paths along the way,

We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay…Our destination is a place,Far greater than we know.

For some the journey’s quicker,For some the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends,We’ll claim a great reward,

And find an everlasting peace,Together with the Lord.

Life Is But A Stopping Place

IF ROSES GROW IN HEAVEN

If roses grow in Heaven Lord

Please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my mother’s arms

And tell her they’re from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her,

and when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it everyday,

But there is an ache within my heart

That will never go away.

ObituaryJuanita was the second of three daughters, Marcelline and Agnes,

born to Theodore and Naomi (Carr) Gibson. She was born in London, Kentucky and was baptized in the Christian Church at an early age. She married her childhood sweetheart, John Williams and to this union four children were born, Vernice, Juan, Eric, and Michael.

She moved to Cleveland, Ohio and joined East Mount Zion Baptist Church where she was a very active member of Group 11 and the Ladies Guild.

Juanita worked as a Nurse’s Aide for over 30 years, and retired from Huron Road Hospital. She was an avid bowler and bowled in a couple of leagues until her health began to fail.

She had many dear friends who always described her as a true friend who put others before herself and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was an honorable woman and had a heart made of gold. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Vernice; sons, Juan, Eric and Michael; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTSA million times we needed you,A million times we cried,If love alone would have saved you,You would have never died.

In life we loved you dearly,In death we love you still,In our hearts you hold a place,No one can ever fill.

A light from our household is gone,A voice from our love is stilled,A place in our vacant home,Which never can be filled.

Some may think you are forgotten,Though on earth you are no more,But in our memory you are with us,As you always was before.

It broke our hearts to lose you,But you did not go alone,A part of us went with you,The day God called you home.

Your precious memories are for keepsakes,With which we never part,God has you safely in his keeping,But we have you in our hearts.

Letting GoGod saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be.

He closed his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me”.In tears we saw you sinking. We watched you fade away. Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain,We could not wish you back to suffer so again.

So keep your arms around her Lord, and give her special care.Make up for all she suffered and all that seemed unfair.
