We would like to enthusiastically recommend MarketSmart and Greg Warner, CEO, as a

marketing campaign vendor and consultant. We at the American Diabetes Association (ADA)

Individual Giving Department are very fortunate to have employed the strategic marketing

services of MarkSmart for a major Planned Giving Campaign.

Having worked with us on various print projects, Greg was familiar with the ADA mission and

our fundraising mechanisms. Through his interest in our fundraising efforts to support diabetes

research, Greg suggested a marketing project he had been using with for-profit companies.

Following a very thorough presentation, we employed Greg to customize a personalized

marketing campaign for donors. The goal of the campaign was to encourage enhanced donor

communications which would ultimately lead to an increase in Planned Giving contacts.

The MarketSmart campaign has been, and continues to be, extremely successful. From virtually

non-existent leads, we have had correspondence with hundreds of individuals requesting estate

planning information or stating they have left a bequest to the ADA.

Equally important, it has been a pleasure to work with Greg, who, with great sincerity, has acted

as a true advocate for our mission. Greg’s generosity of time, professionalism, dedication and his

unbinding sense of enthusiasm for our project have been unprecedented.

We also credit the success of this project to Greg’s attention to detail and his market testing skills.
