The idea behind the development of the e-learning portal of PPPJJ was to set up a one

stop centre for reference for the purpose of electronic assisted learning. In my view, this

portal has been very useful to me due to several reasons.

Firstly, this portal has encouraged any time-any place access to course materials.

Course materials that have been downloaded and saved inside the portable gadgets can be

accessed easily without having to carry heavy books and flip from page to page. This can be

done anywhere throughout the globe as long as I have the internet connection.

Other than that, I also get the opportunities to widen my communication with

lecturers and other students via forum pages. These pages have allowed me to interact and

discuss about assignments and quizzes with them. We also share and exchange useful tips

and opinions with each other.

Next, the portal can give me direct access to up to-date information such as

examination dates and video-conference schedules. It also included important announcements

regarding things that need to be done by all PPPJJ students. All the information in this portal

are reliable compared to other alternative pages like Facebook and personal blog.

Finally, the online assignment submission provided through PPPJJ portal is a very

convenient way for a working student like me. This approach has made it easier for me to

submit my assignments without having to post or submit it over the counter. Everything is at

my fingertip. It is a very good way to save time and money too.

In conclusion, it is undeniable that PPPJJ portal has assisted me to cope with my

varsity life. Indeed, this kind of portal is a must in this era of information and

communications technology (ICT).
