What we learned

Overview of new skills
• Helped set up new users• Setup Macs, Mac Minis, and PC’s• Re-imaged, encrypted, and wiped computers• Made a bootable El Capitan USB Drive• Loaded Windows 10 Enterprise and MAC OS Sierra Beta 4
on computers and tested their functionality
IT Support
• Set up and cleaned up IT equipment in cubicles• Prepared the Pelican case for events• Unpackaged new equipment• Tagged new equipment• Retired old equipment• Created spreadsheets to ensure retired computers and
phones are no longer assigned to employees
Asset Management
This was our first job:• First office experience• Learned the ins and outs of a professional work
environment • Responsibility to manage tasks and tickets• Interacted professionally with others• Assisted employees with computer troubles • Sent professional emails at all times
Practical Skills
• Phone Policy• Contractor Form• Job with corresponding computer privileges• Organized shared drive • Inventoried retired computers and phones
How we made a difference
• Freezing Samsung Galaxy S4 to bypass an encryption lock•Used bootcamp to partition a Mac with Windows 10
