I feel like thoughts materialize in a cloud-like sense. The only true thing we have are our thoughts. They are the most personal human belonging.
I feel like thoughts materialize in a cloud-like sense.
REGRET
All of our past decisions and actions have brought us to th

t,
why should we wish those had not happened?
one must be comfortable
in solitude to be able to partake in a relationship,
because dependence is unhealthy.
Solitude seems to be more personally/individually rooted.
ISOLATION vs. SOLITUDE
I kind of see secret
s like strings...
“My playhouse is underneath Our house, and I hear people Telling each other secrets.”
“Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier, simpler.”-Friedrich Nietzche
I think
thoughts are the mani-
festations of our feelings, and vice
versa. Sometimes feelings cannot be properly expressed,
except they may eventually all find a way to be articulated. But sometimes
we do feel so weird and feel immense pains that just seem oversimplified when actually ex-
plained. If shadows distort us, and our thoughts are the shadows of our feelings, our thoughts would then
be tricking us. Do we lie to ourselves? How do we know our thoughts accurately articulate what we feel? There is no way to
tell, really. How do we know if we really know ourselves? I guess our thoughts are somehow interpretations/translations of our subconscious.
“I believe that almost all our sadnesses are moments of tension that we find
paralyzing because we no longer hear our surprised feelings living.
-Rilke
Emotions happen, it is how we respond to them that matters.
Anticipation: “In drawing, the trace always proceeds in the night: it always escapes the field of vision.” -Calvino
Ignorance and arrogance.
Fleas interest me so muchthat I let them bite me for hours.
They are perfect, ancient, Sanskrit, machines that admit of no appeal.
They do not bite to eat,they bite only to jump;
they are the dancers of the celestial sphere, delicate acrobats
in the softest and most profound circus;let them gallop on my skin,
divulge their emotions, amuse themselves with my blood,
but someone should introduce them to me.I want to know them closely,
I want to know what to rely on.-Pablo Neruda

Sublime. The beautiful, according the Edmund Burke, is what is well-formed and aesthetically pleasing, whereas the Sublime is what has the power to compel and destroy us.
The world is so complex and has so many intricacies that beauty seems to be relative. The world is so complex and has so many intricacies that beauty seems to be relative.

If our shadows distort us,
and our thoughts are the shadows of our feelings,
our thoughts would then be tricking us.
Do we lie to ourselves?
How do we know our thoughts
accurately articulate what we feel?
There is no way to tell, really.
How do we know if we really know ourselves?
Can we take steps to align our conscious with our subconscious?
Or take steps to accurately interpret and utilize our subconscious?
How can one’s subconscious feelings and desires
actually be known, common knowledge?
Is human nature too complex and diverse
to categorize and predict?
