FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN...We had some excitement on our property when a fire broke out on the mountain directly behind my house. It quickly swept up a large area, but the firemen and several of our people were able to put it out and prevent it from coming onto our property, although it came up to the boundary. There have been fires on other nearby mountains as well. When the government checked the different burnt sites they found that witches had buried more than 2,000 bottles with names of people they were cursing. They were especially interested that many were against Christian churches and their leaders – the bottles against pastors also had barbed wire around them. We have encountered witches at different times, but hadn’t heard these details. We believe the Lord allowed the fire to remind us that the enemy is not asleep, and that we need to take hold of the victory we have in Jesus who “spoiled principalities and powers” and “has triumphed over” them at the cross. We appreciate your continuing to prayer for us as there is much spiritual warfare over the nation especially now with a new government coming into place.

STARTING THE SCHOOL YEAR…The new school year is into the first weeks of classes. There have been many changes with the new principal – thus far, all of them positive and parents are encouraged as much as we

are with what the Lord is doing! Please pray for a move of God in this school year. This year we have 184 students we are urgently needing more classrooms. We will be presenting plans for our new school building to companies both here and abroad, but first must have a government statement for land usage. It is a legal process that will cost $10,000. Obviously, these are funds that we don’t have, but we are believing the Lord for His provision.

At the same time, we are reorganizing our pastoral ministry as we now have leaders who can take on more responsibility. We are presenting a whole new evangelism project, as well as pastoral care and ask for

prayer for wisdom as we undertake the changes.

COMING EVENTS…I will be traveling in the next couple of days to minister in Canada at the 100 Mile Ranch. I will be spending a few days with Alistair Petrie and his wife Marie before the conference. We have traveled and ministered together in all the continents, so it is a privilege to be able to minister together at this time as well. On this occasion I am the principal speaker, so please pray that the Lord will move through me and that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy
